Man, he seemed like he was part of the play---distracting the keeper.

Meanwhile, Plymouth Argyle win a penalty at 27' of extra time, that would have levelled it, and dude kicks it right to Kepa.

I think he was on, but the player in the middle...waiting for another replay.
He was a lot closer than Soucek, but still looked past the last defender to me. Definitely looked like on that VAR would’ve “shoulder and arm” waved off, whatever your opinion is on that I suppose.

Goal scorer was definitely on. They just showed replay.

You can be past the defender if you're behind the ball. He was.

Toffees up 1-0 at the half over Brentford. Mina with the goal off a corner, after coming on to replace Ben Godfrey (looked like a calf or hammy).

Looking much better under Lampard. Energy and endeavor. Frank told them in practice this week to "enjoy the ball." Rafa had them handlng the ball like a land mine.

Alli, Van de Beek, El Ghazi all ineligible for this game - cup tied to their previous sides. DCL still out.

Just saw that WH goal. What a screw job.

#3 and #5 sides in the PL really could/should have been out of the cup today.

Spurs with a tidy 3-1 win at home over BHA. Played really well in the first half, BHA switched things up in 2nd and were playing well, and scored a goal, but Kane made it 3-1 three minutes later and that was about it. The two newest Spurs got some run, Son was back and Romero played really well.

Delighted with Toffees’ draw but unfortunately no games where heavyweights have drawn each other so as to knock one out- the usual suspects have easily winnable games

FA Cup Fifth Round recap

  • Luton Town vs Chelsea
  • Crystal Palace vs Stoke City
  • Peterborough vs Man City
  • Liverpool or Cardiff vs Norwich City
  • Southampton vs West Ham
  • Middlesbrough vs Tottenham
  • Nottingham Forest or Leicester vs Huddersfield
  • Everton vs Bournemouth or Boreham Wood

Cardiff and Liverpool is a slog. Konate would have conceded a penalty had the Cardiff player not started a dive before the real contact came.

I really, really hate watching Minamino play. His football IQ is very near zero.

And now Kelleher blows it.

Forest with an ass-whooping on Leicester City, 4-1 FT. They were up 3-0 within 30 minutes and could've had a couple more.

California. Duh.
Apparently Boreham Wood's chairman had to remortgage his house to keep the club from going under during the lockdown. That gate from Goodison Park should do a ton to stabilize their finances. Good for them.

This is hilarious. The basis is "sporting integrity" since their fans can't travel to the game. So, by extension, should all Chelsea home games be played behind closed doors since away fans can't buy tickets to games at Stamford Bridge?
