National signing day today. Recruiting rankings according to 24/7:

1. Alabama
2. Georgia
3. Miami
4. Texas
5. Ohio State
6. LSU
7. Oklahoma
8. Notre Dame
9. Oregon
10. Tennessee
11. Clemson
12. Florida
13. Penn State
14. Texas A&M
15. USC
16. South Carolina
17. TCU
18. Michigan
19. Auburn
20. Utah
21. Florida State
22. Arkansas
23. Texas Tech
24. Mississippi State
25. Michigan State

Surprises for me were South Carolina and Texas Tech. Hard to tell anything about the effect of Mike Leach’s death on MSU’s class but clearly he had done a great job. Texas scored big with Arch Manning, and Sarkisian has already indicated that the QB job is open. Hope Sark has his head removed from his rear end in game management because in everything else he seems to be firing on all cylinders.

The rich get richer, the poor get the picture. - Peter Garrett, Midnight Oil

Big surprise to me was Miami at #3. When's the last time that happened?

Cristobal is a great recruiter, not so great with the coaching.

Schedule concerns- June workouts was the stated reason
Horseshit. They didn't want to share a stage with other National Champ teams in a White House that apparently finds the 135 White House visits of championship teams of all kinds to be kind of a waste of time and money.
