Overall this gamemade me even more nervous than I thought it would.
The Cowboys defense was good to excellent, as opposed to other defenses they have faced. Purdy showed that, while he is a good QB, there is a reason he was drafted so late (forgetting the whole Mr Irrelevant thing). Dan Quinn had his defense ready for him.
That being said, there was a lot to like about him. He did not throw unnecessary interceptions (of course Diggs dropped a key one), and when he was sacked the defense was really fast in getting to him. He actually got to get rid of the ball many times.
The defense did show up, and while Pollard's injury was a factor, I think the defense manned up big time. That muff by McCloud to start the 2nd half could have really hurt, holding them to FG was big. Two key turnovers too. It was a hard fough duel and it was tense until the end.
