I renewed my team. Apparently registration date is a tiebreaker for weekly/monthly rewards.
I renewed my other mini-league, and had to send invites out again - I thought if the mini-league was renewed and the teams register again, it was automatic.
Anyhow, I'm hoping we can have some FPL discussion in here this season. I'm researching my theory of dip in performance by golden boot winners who receive a new contract immediately after. Will Salah/Son disappoint us this season?

It's another manifestation of the SI cover or Madden cover jinx. Nowhere to go but down.
Son's xG was 16.4, Salah's was 22.9. Salah has penalties and Son doesn't (although he took one yesterday). Salah's npxG was 17.0.
Having the penalties gives Salah a built-in advantage. 5 of his 23 goals were pens.

In my head I thought Ings and PEA tied for the golden boot in '19-20, but it was Vardy who took it - my theory was quickly debunked
So what are the codes for this year? I tried the one mentioned in the other thread - hdu5y2 - but it says it’s invalid
Yes, I deleted them because I was told we were waiting for @Smiling Joe Hesketh to re-activate last years league.

Is it ok if I invite my cousin (non-SoSH) to this league? He's never done FPL before, but is interested since he's a big fan (and former player).
I've seen it but the rest of the side is pretty ugly to look at.

Invited 2 friends in using the Code posted by Swiftlaw below. Apparently that Code only works for head-to-head. Is there a separate Code for main league? OK if I give it to them?
there is some great value in midfield, so you can squeeze in two premiums and 4+ at the back. But you then have to might have to go with two 4.5 forwards. But that's not too bad, there's a lot of wait and see in the forward positions, of the three groups they're the weakest imo.
that might have to wait for my wildcard in week 8 or during the World Cup break
