The top 7 guys in the Ryder Cup standings are locks to make the team. You would think that Patrick Reed, Harris English, and Patrick Cantlay are going to make the team. So that leaves 2 spots for Daniel Berger, Tony Finau, Webb Simpson, and Scottie Scheffler. Who gets those 2 spots?

I would say that Webb and Berger would be best. And then take out Cantlay and English and put in Finau and Scheffler and you've got your team.

I'm not sure English and Cantlay are locks tbh. I think there are 4 spots for 6 guys, we'll see how it shakes out.
English has been playing well of late. He has 3 top 5's in the last couple of months including a win in Hartford and 3rd at the US Open. Cantlay has struggled since winning the Memorial, but still has done enough to be inside the top 12 in RC points. Looking at Berger's recent results(4 top 10's in his last 7 events), he may have the upper hand on Cantlay now that I look at it.

I think English is a lock. He's the 10th ranked player in the world right now and is in good form. He's had a top 4 in 3 of his last 4 starts including a win. He's been pretty solid for almost a full year now. Cantlay is 9th in the world so I think he's a lock too, though his results have been very erratic of late. Missed 3 cuts in a row, won the Memorial, hasn't done much since. He's striking it well though. 4th on Tour in strokes gained tee to green.

I think Scheffler and Berger would be my final 2. Scheffler is having a really good season and is 4th in birdie percentage which is useful in math play. Final spot for me was between Berger and Finau. I went with Berger because statistically he's been a touch better and also has had better results of late.

Rahm and Cam Smith tied after 54 holes at the NT. Tomorrow has already been washed out. They are going to try to play on Monday. Curious to see what they do if they can’t play Monday.

Looks like they're going to get it in today. Final round just started, leaders scheduled for a 1:42 pm tee time.

Henri dumped 6.5 inches of water on the course. Pretty remarkable it's in any kind of playing shape today. Would assume they're going lift, clean, place today but haven't seen anything official.

Apparently Bryson is entering a Long Drive competition that is the day after the Ryder Cup. Can we just leave this guy at home?

With the exception of Rahm, everyone is hacking it around today. Kinda surprising given the scoring through the first 3 rounds.

Lowry just skulled an iron out of a halfway decent looking fairway bunker lie straight into a stream crossing the fairway. Always fun to see these guys screw up.

Edit - everybody now missing fairways with fairway woods. Pretty sure Thomas just sliced one into a pond.

Finau a short eagle putt away from tying Rahm after a brilliant second shot

They're not going back to TPC Norton, I believe. The tournament was supposed to alternate between this course and Norton. It wouldn't surprise me if they leave this course too. Supposedly the pros hate the layout even if the view of NYC is spectacular.

What the hell was that on the 18th tee? Two or three groups waiting?
