It will be interesting to see how DeChamblees responds to this disaster.
After thinking about it, I’m probably wrong about DeChambeau. He had the epic blowup for the 10 last year and it didn’t really have an impact. He’s enough of a narcissist to blame the clubs and move on.

Of course, his drive here will be fun to watch.

Edit: And Westwood hits an awful drive, followed by a good one for DeChambeau. Because, of course.

I've got Westwood finishing at like -8. For the tournament, not the day, obviously.
We’ll see but he is still in OK shape. Nobody around him is going nuts. He is +2. Bryson is +2 JT is even. Rahm is even.

Connors is going strong but best case for him is posting -11.

Looks like the wheels are coming off for Westwood, DeChambeau has backed up and JT is in control. Hope JT makes at least birdie at 12 and coasts in.

I’ve never been a fan of Westwood, but I find myself rooting for him. I am also a fan of Thomas. Strangely, I have a financial interest in pulling for DeChambeau and I’m not even pretending to root for him.

One could say I’m conflicted.

Westwood's leaking oil, but he is making some clutch saving putts.
No real rooting interest, other than seeing good shots and being on Team Old Guy

Also not to be overlooked with Westwood in this day of caddies being complete information centers, he is doing all this on his own. No help on yardages or green reading, I'd assume. Just a really impressive come back for a 47 year old out there.

Have to feel for Camilo Villegas. After all he's been through, he needed a 3-way tie for 3rd to maintain his card. He finished T-8, 2 shots off securing his card. I'm rooting for this guy to have a lot of success, wherever is best for him and his family.

Rory is getting his clock cleaned by Poulter. Their match is one of the two on the Featured Group coverage; the other is Rahm vs. Munoz, and Rahm just had a hole he lost after failing to hit the green on back-to-back chips.
He's about to lose 6 and 5 after chipping into the water from behind the green on 13.

No idea what's going on there.

This is one of those events that could really use the every group live option. You can get stuck with clunker matches on PGA Tour Live.
