I say it every year, but they have to play a Ryder Cuo here. The closing stretch would be bananas for match play. Really from 13 on.

We have our annual Ryder Cup there this fall. Last day singles matches at TPC. Gonna be incredible.

Does anyone know if the stadium on the 16th remains up year-round? (I'm guessing it probably does.)

I think I might be more excited about the golf than the football tomorrow, if only because there's someone I'm clearly rooting for in the golf. And there are some really great names on the first page of the leaderboard.

It does not. I've played there a couple of times in April (2013 and 2015) and the stadium was gone both times. And it's a rather unassuming hole without the stadium.

Looking forward to this round. Pulling for Jordan, but expect Xander to take it which is also awesome. JT and Brooks are just close enough that if one of them goes nuts, they could pull it off.

For Spieth, this kinda reminds me of Tiger at the Valspar in 2918. Out of nowhere in the final group. It might take 2 or 3 of these before he gets back into the winners circle, but we’ll se.

Also- Anyone heard or read anything about Roger Maltbje or Gary Koch? They were both absent from the broadcast yesterday. I’d miss both if they’re gone, though I have enjoyed John Wood and Bones is always excellent.

Spieth opening tee shot, washed to the right, over the cart path. With a hybrid.

Hopefully that doesn't mean anything for the rest of the round.

Schauffele could implode too.

What do Spieth's 54 hole lead numbers look like over the past two years? What he did when he was a different player years ago isn't relevant. That golfer is dead and gone.

Truth be told, he probably hasn't had a 54 hole lead in the past two years.

He hasn’t had one obviously in 2 years.

The guy shot his lowest round ever on tour yesterday. I’m not saying he wins today but the idea that he’s some choker playing bad golf who is going to implode makes me laugh when he’s paired with a guy who is developing a rep of doing just that.

Zero end result today would surprise me. Could be Spieth, Xander, or the field and I wouldn’t bat an eye.
