A run here for LA could easily be the difference even though its still the sixth given the Braves light hitting.

Boston, MA
Is it wrong to feel like the Red Sox are better than both of these teams? I'm not finding either lineup or rotation to be that impressive.

Kinda sad.
He's sort of been a serviceable hitter for the Dodgers, with a 101 wRC+, but he is literally the slowest player in baseball (has been for a while) and hasn't been a legitimately valuable player in a long time. I know it all comes down to that contract, but he has a -3.3 fWAR over the last 5 seasons.

What's wild is that he still mashes vs LHP: 140 OPS+ and 13 HR in 136 ABs this year. If he wanted to he could probably play a few more years as a lefty killer. But with 3,300 hits, 2 World Series rings, and his 1st ballot HoF candidacy secured at age 41, I guess the question would be: why?
Ah, that's a fair point. As a pitch hitter off the bench against a lefty, you could do worse.

Mookie seems to be running more in the playoffs. Does anyone know if statcast gives real time stats on sprint speed? I know Mookie's numbers on the year are down but he seems to be moving well now.

Those in betweeners are brutal. The offense will take them but it seems like both the hitter and fielder come away from them more irritated than anything.
