Is it worse than paying about the same for Kemba?Imagine paying Simmons $35M+ per. Ouch

Last seven minutes took almost 40 minutes.Philly in the bonus already. This is going to be an interminable last seven minutes.
You misspelled ‘but not Simmons’.Statement win for Embiid and Simmons.

Maxey was huge.Somehow that game reminded me of Sixers-Celtics playoffs in early 1980s. Physical, defense body to body, baskets hard to come by in fourth quarter. The Hawks have a lot of heart but Trae doesn’t get much help. I don’t know what to say about Philly. They can play defense. But without Maxey, they get blown out tonight.
Apparently not that easy, since Doc challenged it? On the other hand, they took a good look and upheld it. Just seems like an odd rule to me — feel like if you get an offensive rebound under the rim, you should be able to go up strong and score it, as long as you're not obviously warding off (which he was not, imo).Restricted area is for drives, not when you get the ball on a rebound or deep in the post.
Embiid pretty clearly threw his elbow out to get contact, I thought it was an easy offensive foul call.
Not sure Doc should be considered a good judgeApparently not that easy, since Doc challenged it? On the other hand, they took a good look and upheld it. They had a foul to give, so it shouldn't even have been two shots. Gifting a guy three FTs (the most efficient possible offensive possession) on a play where he wasn't even attempting a real shot is so infuriating. I hope they take a long look at that in the offseason.Paul George just drew the most fucking bogus 3-shot foul of all time lol. That was either on the floor and 2 shots, OR foot over the 3-pt line and 2 shots on the shot itself.
Maybe 3....Apparently not that easy, since Doc challenged it? On the other hand, they took a good look and upheld it. Anyway, that play aside, I generally liked the laissez-faire reffing in this one on both ends. It's the playoffs — would much rather see them beat each other up a bit than parade to the FT line all game.
Two game sevens on tap...
Kyle Korver had to pass the torch to someone. Is Kevin Huerter the most unlikely looking NBA player in the league?

Reggie Jackson has been a godsend for this team. I suppose everyone who was questioning why Mann hadn’t been playing have been proved right tonight.Amazing comeback by the Clips. It's their Field of Dreams
