The course they played in the fall isn't the same course they are playing this week. This week will favor guys that understand the right places to miss it and strategize around the course.
I know. My comment had nothing to do with how well he did in November and everything to do with how good he is. He missed one cut in his last 20 starts, and was -1 in that one.

Oh Kim got his money's worth on the putter breaking. Maybe the head was already lose or something, but man was that a mighty club slam.

Like Strange, I'm surprised he's putting with the 3-wood. Most guys blade a wedge.
Sergio used a driver before. I don't think there's really a great option. Wood has less loft but a long shaft and flat lie angle. Blading a wedge leaves little room for error, but you can set up more normally.

I'd probably use a hybrid.

Wolff DQ’d for reporting a wrong score. He was going to miss the cut anyway but apparently signed for a 4 on 17 when he clearly made a 5.

Players needing to keep report their own score may be my favorite part of pro golf.

They actually don’t even keep their own score. They keep their competitor’s.

No his competitor wrote down a 4 and Wolff didn’t correct it when attesting. He probably didn’t really care and look at the card carefully because he missed the cut anyway.
Weird, thanks. It may be semantics, but 1) Why is this necessary these days on the pro tours? 2) How does he know if the 4 is correct/incorrect, and the other 17 holes, if he doesn't keep his own score? He seemingly still has to with this attestation process 3) Back to #1

4) It would be fun if they had this for bowling, or something.

Do we really not think these guys keep their own score to compare when they need to attest? I have to think they are tracking their own along with their playing partner.

They keep their own score as well.

Phil has the lowest round going this morning. Course will only get more difficult as the wind picks up.

Of course but they are not writing down their scores on their official scorecard they turn in. Their competitor writes it down then the player attests them at the end.

Rose tees off: That will be problems, that's what you didn't want to do.

Cut to the ball landing on the fairway. Real bang up job by this crew.

How does a skinny guy like Zalatoris hit the ball as far as he does? 224 yards, didn't catch what iron he used, but back of the green or slightly over. Not much correlation anymore, strength to distance, unless you're DeChambeau..

These guys are talking like getting a ball to stop on the green from 133 is an impossibility.

I'm talking about JT's shot. He was 13 away, he gets the ball to stop because it goes 50 miles in the air.

Ok, I'm done complaining about bad announcers. Fuck Jim Nantz.

Same as JT does, their swings and builds are very similar. They use their lower body to generate incredible speed and hit the ball on the dead center of the clubface every time.
