Amazing. CONCACAF on notice. Keep the player development machine rolling and never relinquish this.

Turner the player of the tournament for me. He’s gonna start by Qatar I think unless this is just one of those runs of form. His play with this feet is extremely uncomfortable but that kind of shot stopping steals entire matches

If it’s a run of form it’s 3 years and counting now I think.

Any team that can make Alexi Lalas quiet for a bit is the real American A Team in some ways.

Robinson has some Gronk to him.

U.S. winning here has implications for WC seeding. This means we could be a likely Pot 2 nation, avoiding a second “big” group team.

I played at the same soccer camp as Miles Robinson. He was very good.

I feel like Acosta is a guy I have bagged on in the past, and I don't know if it's a positional thing or what but he was immense. Roldan also pretty impressive off the bench with some good service—he is a Bedoya-type solid but limited athlete for sure but it shows the growth here that your Bedoya types are firmly on the B team as depth pieces.

Does the USMNT have a left back????????

I'm not sure what the final stats will say. I know Mexico had a bunch of corners and probably the bulk of the possession, but this was not a fluke. US pressure was impactful, counters were pretty dangerous, the defense was quite composed and were hardly sitting in a shell.

Have to say, for a USA-Mexico match, it was relatively clean and free of bullshit.
The ref was extremely whistle happy, probably too much for my taste, but as a reaction to the Nations League final it is understandable and it damn well worked.
