Yes, but not from a public shaming by ME.

I don't believe innocent people go to massage parlors. There are legitimate massage therapists for that.
It’s already known that with this spa there were definitely customers who went to get legit massages, including women. That’s part of the concern with making the videos public.

Is your problem here legality or ethics/morals?

Plenty of places are called a "day spa" that don't do anything sexual or illegal. Unless someone makes one alert of the ability to ask for those services, you likely would never know. It's not like you walk in and look at a menu board at a sub shop and say..."hmmmm....I think I'll go with a #3...." "Certainly sir, would you like your salad tossed with that?" The colloquialism that "massage parlor" became a euphemism for "brothel" worked in the opposite direction you're assuming. So yes, the majority of people that go to them are "innocent" of whatever you're judging them on. Kraft clearly went there for that reason, but the average retiree in Jupiter Florida was probably looking for an affordable massage to ease his aging body.

Should probably wait for the disposition of the appeal to declare victory on this one, though I'm fairly confident you are correct.
I’ll pay it now. If we have to give an extra $50 to the Jimmy Fund, cool. You want it in somebody’s honor or memory, if that’s an option?

Interesting direction with the exclusion, basing it not on a deficiency in the warrant itself, but on the lack of minimization efforts for people who weren’t charged. I hadn’t anticipated that aspect of things. Anyone got the order itself handy?

I see what you did there. But I should have looked away, because you weren’t doing anything wrong.

If the video being made public was Kraft's #1 worry, being suspended and missing the banner unveiling was 1a.
Today's ruling in FL has given Goodell cover to delay his judgement

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said Wednesday the league office will take no action against Patriots owner Robert Kraft until his solicitation of prostitution case is wrapped up in court.

And those two things are probably directly related to one another. Kraft's lawyers have earned their pay thus far.

The interplay of public record law and information obtained pursuant to warrants is pretty interesting. The end result may become unwelcome for law enforcement.

If illegally obtained information is subject to disclosure then I think you are going to get higher scrutiny of certain types of warrants. I’ve posted a few times the absurdity of making subject to public disclosure information that has been judged to have been collected in violation of the law because it is an invasion of privacy. Judicially or legislatively I have a feeling there will be a fix and Robert Kraft May well be the catalyst.

Didn't see it posted, but Deadspin did an in-depth investigative piece back in June about the women at Orchids of Asia and, basically, how Bawb is a terrible person. Only found out about it from Magary's WYTS.

Granting the editorial slant, it's still an interesting window into a corner of life that few of us give much thought to.
Just reading it now, but the gist is that Bob should have just pled guilty and moved on and not mounted a defense?

It seems the police wanted to make this a big deal because Kraft was involved, but they had to know that if his name got out he was going to fight it.

I’d bet this was filmed last year.

It’s from the first episode of the Netflix show ”Living with Yourself.” In it, Paul Rudd’s character goes to the spa to get a clone made of himself that is a better version of himself. The original, intended joke is not as funny. I bet the showrunners were doing cartwheels this past spring when the news broke.

That news broke in February, less than three weeks after the Super Bowl. And the "six" punch line tends to suggest it was filmed after Brady got his sixth ring.

That's a good point. However, after some amateur lip-reading it looks like "sixth" could have been dubbed over him saying "fifth."

They also could have recorded multiple versions, given the not insignificant chance that Brady would pick up another ring before the show debuted.

I may just have homer glasses on.

Because if what Greenberg says is true, Brady agreed to do the scene before Kraft was swept up in the now infamous massage parlor sting — which is still snaking its way through the legal process, by the way. But rather than back out given Kraft’s incident, Brady allegedly went ahead with it anyway.
PFT suggests that maybe Brady didn't realize he was walking out of a spa in the scene, but that seems extremely hard to believe.

Writer (Jets fan) said scene was written after deflategate to poke fun at Brady.

I’m sure the Kraft news didn’t bother him though.

Couldn't stop laughing. If Brady did it after Kraftgate, it''s a great FU to political/social correctness as well as Patriot/Kraft haters

Apparently it happened before, and the original line was “five,” but I’m choosing to ignore that and believe he’s busting Kraft’s nuts.

I’m curious about whether it occurred to Tom and, like, his team that he may want to ask the cameo to be pulled or if he did and the production team declined.

I’m decidedly in the ‘wow that’s funny/ballsy and who really cares?’ camp, mind you. The only angle of intrigue to me is what Kraft thinks and does. For all we know Tom told Kraft about it. Or he didn’t and Bob won’t care. Or Bob will care for 10 minutes, until he realizes he can never be angry with his all but adopted son.

And until Kraft reflects on the fact that he put himself in this position.

The cameo is awesome

So is he supposed to be coming out of a McDonald’s? I find it unlikely that he would troll Kraft too, but don’t understand what the alternatives are supposed to be here.

I’m not a lawyer, but this looks like a dirty pool move by the prosecution. Get your PR message out there and then refile with 13 fewer pages and less nonsense.

South Florida Sun Sentinel: Prosecutors turn up the heat on Patriots owner Robert Kraft
But now lawyers for the state are arguing for the first time that Kraft — charged with two misdemeanor counts of soliciting prostitution — actually committed a felony.
Kraft’s representatives most recently slammed the state’s lawyers for violating a rule that restricts page counts in pleadings. The state had asked for special permission to file a 28-page argument, which is 13 pages longer than typically allowed.
In response, the appeals court on Monday ordered the state to abide by the 15-page maximum and re-file it.
But the extra-long document from the state remains in the docket for all to see. In it, the prosecutors took aim at one of Kraft’s main positions — that police went to extreme and unnecessary lengths over simple misdemeanor crimes.
“The investigation at issue here culminated in numerous felony charges against the owner, manager, and employees of the Spa,” the state’s attorneys wrote on Dec. 17. “In addition, any person who purchased prostitution services on multiple days, as Mr. Kraft did, committed a felony.”
