It’s almost like the Pats gave two separate throwing camps going on. The WRs are taking turns working with Cam and Stidham in different parts of the country. Weird.

These workout videos are such a worthless endeavor. Who knows how many misfires, drops and miscommunications happened to get that one completed pass with no coverage and no pass rush?
I think the point is it’s better to work out some of those issues now so they can go into camp with a head start. I don’t think anyone is suggesting the fact that some of the WRs are working out with Cam (and/or Stidham) automatically means the passing offense is going to be amazing this year, but on a marginal level the fact these workouts are happening is better than if they weren’t.

Not to counterbalance all the optimism, but I think he's toast, in part because his brain has been scrambled by the NFL referees basically allowing teams to hit him with lead pipes and folding chairs without penalty for the last decade or so. BUT! I'd love to be proven wrong. Either way, it's going to be fun to watch.
Cam floats around the top 10 in the last 10 or so seasons for number of roughing the passer calls received per 100 attempts. That's not going to cover 100% of what you're talking about, because he ran a lot, but he did get some calls.

For the record Brady is WAY down the list, which would completely flummox the haterz that think he gets every call.

No one around here maybe, but I saw a clickbait headline along the lines of “watching Cam and Julian will give any Pats fan chills!!!”

Brady gets rid of the ball so quick I assume he has fewer opportunities to get hit and therefore a call, but whatever. If the haterz wanna focus on that (admittedly bad) call against the Chiefs in the AFCCG, good. Let them remember that game WELL.

I am thoroughly entertained! These are just terrifically shot hype pieces and frankly, wish they'd release more.

Seconded. It’s been awhile since I just bought in full on a hype train of any kind, but I’m currently sitting in my kitchen wearing my brand-new Cam Newton t-shirt that came last week, and I’m as happy as a clam waiting for Cam.

Not really, Brady takes less hits and less sacks, so looking at totals isn't going to do much. Brady is pretty high on the RTP/Sack list. Though Newton is higher.

Not only starter - but a captain.
If this year goes well, I’d be curious about whether or not we bring him back. I don’t think Tennessee had any thought of going past a year on Tannethrill but that obviously led to more. I know Cam’s running style likely means that his cliff will come faster but I’d be interested in a 2-3 year deal if he does well.

But Cam and Belichick won't mesh or fit in together!!!
I thought the other players voted on the captains. Is that not correct?

Edit - If he was voted, that means the decision came from the players, not just BB. Not saying they won't get along well, just curious as to how the NEP select captains.

I can't read Braille. Please decipher.
Dear New England, I will not and do not take this opportunity for granted. I'm so grateful for this organization, my teammates and this city; thank you! No need to look back now....LFG!!

Maybe? Or it’s just that the 1pm slate for CBS kinda sucks.

NYJ @ BUF
CLE @ BAL
IND @ JAX
LV @ CAR

were the other options.
Browns-Ravens is attractive, but probably the Tua storyline (Fitz is supposed to start) pushes the Patriots game over

The question of who’s most responsible for the dynasty - BB or TB - is evergreen and there will be interest, at least initially, to see how post-TB era unfolds. Lots of people also keenly invested in the downfall. Best shot at it in 2 decades. + Cam + Tua.
