Mookie has no XBH in this series and no HR in the entire postseason. I don’t think the Dodgers are paying him to make Sportscenters Top 10 plays. He has been on base twice tonight though.

yet there's no denying his plays have been critical moments of run prevention. game 5 was close to getting out of hand, and game 6 the Dodgers didn't score after the 1st and needed all that run prevention. This might be a 1-run game tonight.

Value is value whether it's defense, baserunning, walking.

He is such a great player and personality, but I still wonder why he didn’t want to stay in Boston. I think if he wanted to stay they could have settled the money issues. I’m slightly bitter at him, but it’s hard to actually dislike him. (I still want the Dodgers to lose)
How many young people choose to live in Boston over LA?

Every hundred years or so, Red Sox management lets a generational talent walk, a guy that will end up in the HOF wearing another teams cap.

It's in their DNA.
On the plus side, we’ll all be dead by the next time it happens.

the Braves need some creativity to get through this with a win. Melancon for more than 2 innings? Fried on no days' rest would be insane, but he's the one guy.

Funny. Remi Wolf gets the intro to this inning. You won't know who that is unless you have a teenager into emerging pop stars...
