According to MLBN, the NL is set:

1-Dodgers
8-Brewers

4-Padres
5-Cardinals

3-Cubs
6-Marlins

2-Braves
7-Reds

I like that there are no divisional matchups in the NL.

Hope the Brewers pull the big upset. LA fans will be nauseating if the Lakers and Dodgers both win a championship in the same year let alone the same month.

I wouldn’t want to play the Reds in a 3 game series with their starting pitching. If the higher seed could pick their opponent, I think the Brewers, Marlins and Cardinals would get picked before the Reds.

Cubs Marlins are two bad offenses. Some freak play might decide that series. Then again, any series could go that way, what am I saying?

Imagine having Brent Suter has your game 1 starter.

Also, with as good as the Braves’ offense has been (5.8 runs/game, only 1 run behind LAD for the season lead), would anyone be surprised if Bauer/Castillo/Gray could take 2 of 3?
