That third word has fascinated me ever since I read Robbie George’s seminal article against gay marriage.

Like, it fascinated me that someone—with help from graduate assistants, one of whom was a friend of mine though we, shall we say, disagreed—could write a full article on the subject and use the word over 50 times (I counted with a word search) and the word “love” maybe three times, and at that, at least one of the references was to Loving v. Virginia.

I mentioned that some years ago to the now Jesuit guy I mentioned the other day in V&N. Like, has nobody ever heard of the lion laying down with the lamb? What do people think natural law even means, right?
I am absolutely in awe of how many different ways the Atlanta Falcons are finding to lose football games.
Took the words right out of my mouth.

That was an absolutely spectacular tip by #85 of cincy to get it into the endzone towards his guy if he did that on purpose

AJ Green let the d-back get in front of him before the tip. if he doesn't, it goes right to him

The real tragedy of Gurley’s game-losing TD is him realizing what’s happening right around the 2 yard line, stopping his momentum with every fiber of his being, and still falling inexorably to doom as Lions celebrate his score around him.

I was going to post the GIF of the Ahmad Bradshaw TD in the Super Bowl, but it still feels too soon.

Feel like I have seen refs miss more calls this year in moments where they are staring directly at the play unimpeded.

In trying to recall if there has ever been a worse TD ever scored, that certainly came to mind as the one that would have been the worst had the Pats come back.

Usually it’s tricky in that the team that is behind who scores too soon often needs a TD, so you can’t blame them too much. Falcons here just needed a chip shot field goal. So bad.

Blank needs a lucky suit, because the one he’s always wearing on the sidelines ain’t it.

His numbers this year are fantastic. Of course he's got a TON of talent around him now. Kinda makes a difference.

One of the biggest difference with Brady and the rest of the league seems to be his ability to call protections. Guy always seems like he has time to throw.

4 TD passing, 1 rushing. 369 yards. Just a monster day.
Now on the season: 64.1% passing, 1,541 yds, 14 td, 4 int, 97.8 rating, add in 2 rushing touchdowns.

The guy is 43 freaking years old and is still a stud.

On pace for 3,522 yds, 32 td, 9 int.

@ Giants and then no cold weather games the rest of the year. I guess Carolina could have a chill mid November

Finish up with three dome games.

Looking at the present rosters, I can't believe Brady is anything but THRILLED with where he is, compared with where he could have been in Foxboro this year.

Damn it. Why’d I pick the stupid Broncos?!?
If I’d have just picked the Chiefs I’d be perfect against the spread going into the night game with a chance to win the DK 5k weekly contest.
Maybe it’s for the best, now I didn’t have to sweat the fact that I picked Arz (not sure how good I feel about that, but when I’m picking I’m not thinking it’s going to matter and I’d have a chance). Oh well...

Glad the Seahawks got moved to prime time so I could actually see the game.

Edit: Although someone always seems to get a serious injury in this stadium.

Those stats aren't including today's game. You can now understand why the guy felt he had more left than he was able to show last year.
