Gotta feed those 3rd and short carries to a 3rd string QB and your fullback when you get the chance.

Payton is bailed out by the hero stretch by Brees. Really weird to waste a TO instead of having a play ready to go during the review to preserve the TO and allow room for a potential run play on 2nd. And another disastrous play involving Hill.

I would have liked to have seen Brady running the Saints offense in a batch of dome games.
On every surface (grass, dome, turf), Brady has been better than Brees. If he played most of his games indoors or in nice weather, his numbers would have been even sicker than they’ve actually been.

Did they just call Brees the GOAT?

Edit - I mean he is great and one of the best, but very rarely have I heard him referred to as the G.O.A.T

Hard count on 4th and 4 when the D knows they probably don’t have to jump the snap to stuff a run, then blow the TO. Payton not having a great game.

Herbert has been surprisingly effective thus far this season but he clearly has a bunch of new fans after this evening.

Brees looked pretty not into being pulled there.

Edit: Never mind he gave a pump. On replay did look like Hill almost fumbled the snap though lol.

I just don't know why the Chargers didn't call TO to stop the clock before that play. It was the classic run the clock down while scoring the TD sequence, if Hill hadn't "screwed it up" with the TD right there.

Feels like almost every prime time game this year has had a fantastic finish...

only dud I can even think of off the top of my head was Miami/Jax...and that one was still fantastic for me, since I’m a fins fan.

Still funny to look back to XXXVI when 1:40 was considered not enough time to get into FG range.

Mike Williams is absolutely ridiculous. Such good body control and high-point ability.

As soon as I heard he trademarked his nickname - the money badger - I wanted him to miss.
