If the Bears somehow beat the Packers next week, and the Cardinals beat the Rams ... the Rams miss the playoffs

What game will be flexed next week?

My candidates
GB/Chicago--Bears win and they're in
Washington/Philly--if Redskins lose the division is still in play
Arizona/LA Rams--the division could be in play and Arizona is still alive.

My pick is GB/Chicago
GB/CHI or nothing

Bears should win. Packers have home field locked up with a win tonight, right?
Nope. If there is a three way tie at 12-4 between NO/SEA/GB them GB gets bumped because of conf record. Their head to head win over NO gets nullified because H2H is only relevant if all three teams have played each other and one team swept the other two.

NO/GB tie goes to GB based on H2H. SEA/GB tie goes to SEA based on common game record.

GB will need to treat next week like a playoff game.

What just happened? NFL HQ couldn't stop that travesty of a call?

That was a bit like incorrectly calling a batter out for stepping out of the box when there are no chalk lines visible.

he might be NE qb in 2 years
At this point, I don't want some retread/reclamation project, just spend some draft capital, draft a QB, develop him and go from there.

I don't want a has been/used to be/never was coming here, I had enough of that this year.

I've watched maybe 6 minutes of this game and I just keep seeing Rodgers touchdowns. How is Adams open as the lone guy in the end zone?

Why would Tennessee not try to get one more play off before the end of the half? I know it's just one play, but you're down by 19 fucking points. Jesus.

I know the NFC East stinks but there's no way there should be a seven hour gap between the Cowboys/Giants and the Eagles/WFT - just do it like the EPL does.

They should move Packers/Bears to Saturday night. Then if the Bears lose, flex Rams/Cardinals to the night game. Boom.

In all seriousness, I'm surprised they didn't go with that Packers/Bears game. That game is win and clinch something for both teams. Large media market in Chicago, national draw with GB and Rodgers. I guess it's possible GB has the 1 seed locked up if NO/SEA lose in the afternoon, but they're already putting a dead Eagles team in that spot so that doesn't seem to concern them. Maybe Fox protected that game or GB has maxed out their national TV appearances.

If the Rams beat the Cardinals, the Bears are in regardless of what happens.
