The rumors about the Patriots jerseys is they will look a lot like the color rush jerseys. Blue tops and bottoms, different stripes on the shoulders.

I don't disagree, but some of the recent NFL changes have been absolutely horrible. Falcons. Rams. Browns a couple years ago. The Jets last year was a complete abomination. There are truly some awful uniforms being produced.

I'm not a uni snob. I kind of liked what Oregon was doing when they started doing it. I thought the Seahawks neon green jerseys were kind of cool. But the recent NFL unis have been really, really bad.
Outside of the multi-color one, I don't mind the Falcons ones.

You are right about the other ones and, the more I think about it, the more my comment applies to general uniform updates across all of sports. Some do suck but most are fairly benign that you get used to after a while. Unless you're on Twitter or if it's retro. Retro always gets high remarks.

All I want are some technical problems on draft day and one team to start auto-picking kickers.

The Bears, Chargers and Bucs should all draft kickers in the first round

The SportsCenter parody account that caused Twitter to explode by saying that Kap signed with the Jets is the biggest winner of 2020.

Carolina’s Christian McCaffrey is signing a four-year extension, averaging $16 million per year, making him the highest-paid running back in NFL history, sources tell ESPN.

I saw this on Twitter, the 2017 draft has produced 8 running backs who have run for over 1,000 yards in a season (Leonard Fournette, CMC, Dalvin Cook, Joe Mixon, Kareem Hunt, Marlon Mack, Aaron Jones and Chris Carson) as well as Alvin Kamara, Tarik Cohen, Jamaal Williams and James Conner. After only three seasons, that has to be one of the best RB drafts ever.

Draft called off?
Season called off?
Belichick retiring?
Patriots signing Kaepernick?
NFL voiding all Pats titles?

Why does it have to be tomorrow night?
Probably Fox Sports hiring someone.

My quarantine/paranoid brain ended up at BB suspended for life, but for that not to leak would be amazing.

If it is legit "straight" NFL news (not something about wrestling, working out, entertainment, etc) wouldn't you think Schefter would have something on it too by now?

On Gronk, Pats can't even afford him now can they? Always ways to create cap space, but I think he is done.

If Gronk comes back, it's likely he wants to play with Brady.

Yeah, that would be the play and there would be a trade but highly unlikely. Chances are Glazer has some minor news that he’s over promoting.

Pretend for a second that it's Gronk. How would that even work mechanically? Pats have his rights. He is under contract. That contract would put them over the salary cap. So would they have to cut / restructure some guys in order for Gronk to un-retire, and then trade him?

wouldn't they be able to trade his "rights?" I'm not sure if he's filed his retirement papers (or if that would even matter) and i believe he's on the Patriots reserved / retired list so as to not count against the cap.

No clue if they could trade his rights with him being on the reserved / retired list. It's kind of why I asked!

Won't impact the cap

Great question. Checked the 2006 version of the NFL Bylaws. Teams can trade a retired player's rights so Gronk's $9.25M cap number would never have to hit the Patriots cap. Gronk's active roster bonuses would be considered NLTBE for 2020 since he did not play in 2019.
