Pats are confusing me. everyone says round 2 is like round 1b this year, Pats cant afford to sign all these picks, they have the ammo to move up...yet it seems they just dont like the players in round 2 as much as everyone else seemed to
Or .... other teams also know that Round 2 is almost as good as Round 1, and don't want to trade out.

Mother had breast cancer, but survived. That's just not competitive with your peers, Mr. Akers.

Wow earlier than I expected for Hurts, and he doesn't seem a fit for what they do unless they are moving on from Wentz?

71 and 98 should be enough to get to 55/56, if they want to move up for Mims/Baun/Epenesa/Madubuike/Jones/Cleveland/Trautman
Would almost have to be 55, can't see Miami looking to pick up MORE picks, they already have 15

His contract won't let them move on.

Dead cap hit of $77M this year, $59M next year, $24.5 in 2022...

I'd bet the Pats go with one of the two Bama Edge guys with their next pick, if either are still there.

I'd love to trade up for Baun tho...he seems like a perfect fit for our needs right now. Heck NFL.com says his NFL comparison is Kyle Van Voy.

Fuck I liked Epenesa.

And, wait, if the fans aren’t live, why is Goodell cheering them on?

And can’t believe Bill didn’t draft a Wesleyan progeny.

Also, was waiting to hear one of these relatives died.

Serious, if completely uninformed question: Are the Eagles drafting him to play QB?
Yes. I will say they have always wanted to have a really good backup (possibly because Wentz is always injured) but this seems a weird fit. Hurts projects as a guy you have to build an offense for, not plug into another QBs offense when there is an injury,

Some of you guys are funny.

"They have too many holes. Want them to trade back and acquire picks!...but maybe they can trade up to draft players, too?"

So... this has been kind of a letdown.

I'll guess the Pats have been trying to move up and have been rebuffed. Though Seattle managed...

All the surviving dads are so jacked because they know there’s nothing riskier than fathering an NFL prospect.
lol

FUCK me Dobbins to the Ravens? That one stings. They keep taking my favorite players. This is pissing me off. RB1

Have to have a solid #2 QB when Wentz gets hurt if you look at him wrong.
yeah, I just don't see Hurts as a guy who you would play in the same offense as Wentz was my thing. Though, I guess they could go back to being very RPO heavy like they were 2-3 years ago
