Mocks had him as a mid to late 2nd it looks like, so even though he's D2 it's not like it's a totally insane pick value wise

Dugger isn't a bad pick, I was surprised they didn't trade back, but he's in the same tier as Davis and Winfield, so if you like him best of the 3..... sure.

I thought it was size and speed that kept me out of the NFL. Turns out it was just nobody in my family died.

ESPN's pre-draft analysis of the kid:

"Dugger has an excellent blend of speed, length, size and hand span. He covers a lot of ground and has the tools to match up with tight ends in coverage. He's a playmaker who picked off 10 passes and returned six punts for touchdowns in college. He's a good tackler with great stopping power. -- Steve Muench"

I've never heard of it either, but this clearly isn't taking Tavon Wilson in the 2nd round when he had like a 6th round draft grade.

I guess I just don't get why he goes secondary (the strength of the current team) with the first pick when there are so many other holes (seemingly).
