Sign me up. Versatility is always great and we really needed to get more athletic on defense. Hard to think of two better picks in that regard. From cbssports' draft tracker:
Dugger: A
Dugger is an old prospect but ultra-versatile and a freak athlete. Perfect type of defender for Bill Belichick. Think Patrick Chung 2.0. Ridiculous range in run support. Playmaker in coverage.
Uche: A
Uche is ultra-versatile. Ranges sideline-to-sideline as off-ball linebacker then really flashes as an edge rusher with acceleration, speed-to-power, and awesome inside counter. Explosive. Patriots needed more juice on the outside. Nice young pairing with Chase Winovich.
Hard to not be excited about this.
He might faintImagine what he will do when not facing 8+ men in the box EVERY single snap.
Beats a dead family member issue. It wouldn't be a Chiefs pick without the immediate jump cut to an "Off field issues" screen.
Simmons.Sign me up. Versatility is always great and we really needed to get more athletic on defense. Hard to think of two better picks in that regard.
This is so true. In a word this defense needed speed. Nice injection of that so far.Sign me up. Versatility is always great and we really needed to get more athletic on defense. Hard to think of two better picks in that regard.
The Chiefs picked a guy who beat a dead family member?Beats a dead family member issue.
They already played together, so why not both? So, are the Patriots going Fromm or Eason in this round?
Round 3 was 2 picks awayFeels at least a round early for Gibson if not 2.
I thought he would go late 3 early 4 at the earliest, obviously I was wrongRound 3 was 2 picks away
#deadrelativabilityAdding 'ability' to any word is the new 'measurables.'
Rivera can coach D, imoGibson is going to be a great pickup by some team in a few years after Washington can't figure out how to use him correctly
I thought he would go late 3 early 4 at the earliest, obviously I was wrong
That show was so dumb last year.wooohooo less than 10 days for Billions season 5
And a reach at that. I wonder how many KC fans gave up on their team after that 2nd round choice.Chiefs taking someone with off field issues? Shocking
I made it through the first episode of season 2 and don't think I'm going back. That show was so dumb last year.
Patricia beat Bill to himI'm on board with the somewhat counter-intuitive, loading on on defense picks. Keep going. But there's no way Okwara is still there at 87, is there?
Selecting TE Adam Trautman with the 87 will confirm that thinking.BB was at the Senior Bowl this year. I think he liked what he saw; I dont think this is a coincidence.
NopeI'm on board with the somewhat counter-intuitive, loading on on defense picks. Keep going. But there's no way Okwara is still there at 87, is there?

Just rewatch Succession instead.I made it through the first episode of season 2 and don't think I'm going back.
If the Pats won the Super Bowl and then the next draft made a really dumb pick, would you give up on them? And a reach at that. I wonder how many KC fans gave up on their team after that 2nd round choice.
Especially in this conference having to deal with QB's like Tua, Lamar and Patrick. All are young and may be around for awhile. This is so true. In a word this defense needed speed. Nice injection of that so far.
I think it was (kinda funny) sarcasm. Just something to make you grinn. If the Pats won the Super Bowl and then the next draft made a really dumb pick, would you give up on them?
Yeah, I've heard good things. May give that a shot.Just rewatch Succession instead.
You can never tell with lurkers. If it was you saying that, I'd have definitely taken it that way.I think it was (kinda funny) sarcasm. Just something to make you grinn.
Wasn't he a guy who struggled?Selecting TE Adam Trautman with the 87 will confirm that thinking.
Ahem@RedOctober3829 said it best: If they take Uche at 37 and Dugger at 60 no one says anything. YUP. 100% right.
Loved Bechton and Mims....Davis I am less enamored with but still agree good draft go farJets have killed the draft. Becton, Mims, and Davis are 3 incredible picks.
