DJ is the best golfer in the world. But in majors, when he's had leads, he has generally throw them away.

I am not convinced this is over. Dottie just said it. Johnson should be -22 right now.

This course is even more spectacular without the stands and fans. And the camera/drone work this year has been amazing. I don't really miss the fans.
I think it would be cool if fans were only around the greens. Then you could get the cheers on the approaches and putts, but you don't have to deal with the idiots screaming and you would still get some great views of the holes.

I do miss the roars. But, overall, no fans is definitely a huge bonus. It's unlike any other sport. No fans in baseball, football, or basketball is a drag. In golf, it's a benefit.

Abe and Smith are both going to have a shot at being the first to shoot 4 rounds in the 60’s tomorrow if they can par 18.

Ancer sneaks into the last group by making his par first. Lol.

The two of them (and Im) did a good job staying close. Johnson is a heavy favorite but it will be entertaining.

Team International from the Presidents Cup trying to chase down DJ tomorrow.

Disappointing back 9 from JT today. Thought he could hang with DJ and set up a showdown tomorrow, but no dice.

If DJ plays the front 9 like he did today, the back 9 will be a snoozefest and everyone will be watching football. Credit to DJ for putting on a clinic today. 14/14 fairways(34/42 overall), 16/18 GIR(47/54 overall), 1.67 putts per green(1.65 overall). Only 1 3-putt all week.

Featured groups tomorrow:

8:12am, Tiger, Scheffler, Lowry
8:56am: Rory, Brooks, Fleetwood

DJ off in the final pairing at 9:29. Broadcast starts at 10.

Hard to see DJ coughing this one up but stranger things have happened.

I figured something was up when Friday's pin was middle left. Maybe the back of that green just isn't up to Augusta standards yet...you definitely notice it on some of the tee boxes.

The fairways and tee boxes are re-seeded with rye for the winter after the bermuda grass is scalped. The greens are bentgrass all year round.

Nice sand shot but DJ will only Par 2. He could have easily extended the lead and made those chasing dead.

Instead, alive?

Idk if it's the lack of fans but the camera have pick up every bit of elevation this year

I noticed this too on Friday. There was a side shot of one green and I couldn’t believe how sloped it was from back to front. Maybe without fans they can get more camera angles this year.

The angles are amazing. Another notch in the plus category for no fans.

The elevation fro tee to green was the most surprising too me. It doesn't even look easy to walk the course

All I miss is the roars. Maybe they can pipe them in like they do with the birds

That was a minor upset that DJ didn’t birdie 2

I have been to the Masters once. Our course entry point was the parking lot behind the 5th green. When we came in, I stared at it in disbelief.

I don’t know how anyone plays that green.
