The game has already gone over. And it was 50.5.
Meanwhile, I teased the over last night in the fucking Ravens game (along with the Titans who obviously covered easily) and just needed a field goal for the last 14 minutes, and then watched the Ravens shit down their leg for the rest of the game.

Houston can move the ball on the KC defense, it will be tough recovering from such a squander but they are still very much in this game.

Jesus I went to run an errand after it was 24 - 0 and come back to 28 - 24. I figured KC was going to come back but I thought it would be during the 4th QT.

Incredibly disappointing even for BOB coached team.

The 718
I’m trying to think of a group of men who did as poorly at the task at hand in a competitive situation as Hou ST did that half.

The Belgian army in 1940 comes t mind.

I think the fake was the right call, B'OB knows his defense can't stop KC. They got a 1 on 1 matchup in the open field on the fake and HOU's guy lost.

HOU is still making it too easy for KC with other flubs

The amount of things that happened in only a half of football there was kind of amazing.

Even given that KC won a super bowl 50 years ago, that quarter might have been the all time peak of the franchise. That’s basically a 45 minute orgasm if you’re a Chiefs fan.

Chiefs are now the first team in NFL history (regular season or postseason) to lead at halftime after trailing by 24+ points.

The fake punt felt so, so bad because it felt like an over-correction for mistakenly kicking a FG the last time on 4th down. They magnified the initial error by making an even worse error.

It's the kind of obvious, gambler's fallacy type crap that coaches should know better.

Man, WTF is up with Scott Zolak on Twitter during this game? He’s beyond unhinged. Is he always like this?

Why does it matter?
It doesn't, but it's a much more cleaner rule to officiate if you're just looking at the position of the ball, and surely the spirit of the rule is supposed to be that you're not supposed to throw a forward pass - i.e., the ball - from beyond the line of scrimmage, not that you can throw the ball from beyond the line as long as your back foot is scraping the line.

Low scoring half incoming. Chiefs kick an early field goal. Houston ties it with a late TD, win the coin toss in OT, and win it with a TD and the Chiefs never touching the ball.

I legitimately don't know how a guy even gets that open. Texans have a division II college defense.

Mahomes is so good. If anybody is going to take the mantle from Brady, it's probably him.
