Bucs: TB12 in TB20 - How Far Do They Go?

Assuming the 2020 season is actually played, how far do you think the TB12 led Bucs will go?

  • Win SB

  • Play in SB

  • Make it to the NFCCG

  • Make playoffs

  • Contend but no playoffs (~6-8 wins)

  • Blow chunks (<6 wins)

I'm changing my vote to 0 wins. Because there won't be a season
And the Bengals deal their 2020 #3 and 2021 #1 for New England's 2020 #1, which ends up being the first pick due to a repeat draft. Belichick then trades down from #1 for a bunch of draft picks, picks up Justin Fields as the QB of the future, and completely rebuilds the team. Thus cementing forever his legacy as the coaching GOAT.

On Youtube, a replay of the highlights of the 2010 Pats-Lions Thanksgiving game popped up. That year, here were the Pats' skill position players:

WR Brady - at his peak - MVP season, 65% completion, 36 td, 4 int, 111 rating...just sick
RB BJGE - 1,008 yds rushing, 4.4 avg, 13 touchdowns...just a solid player
RB Woodhead - 547 yds rushing, 5.6 avg, 34 rec, 379 yds, 11.1 avg, 6 total td
WR Welker - 86 rec, 848 yds, 7 td
WR Branch - 48 rec, 706 yds, 5 td
WR Edelman - didn't do much as a receiver, but was an excellent punt returner and obviously was a very good player already
TE Gronk - 42 rec, 546 yds, 10 td
TE Hernandez - 45 rec, 563 yds, 6 td

I know that Gronk and Hernandez were rookies, but already they were excellent players. Welker was returning from injury but clearly was very good. Branch was a really solid veteran receiver. The top two RBs were really good that year.

Just a ton of offensive talent.

Faulk
Woodhead
Vereen
White

We all talk about QB stability with Brady but I think this team has literally had a really good receiving back every season for 2 decades.

Dion Lewis says this is both personal and cheap

Minor quibble but Woodhead wasn’t so much a great receiving back, but nonetheless an excellent change of pace #2 guy

Edit by which I mean they didn’t use him in the same way as Faulk / Vereen / White. More screen type plays, less split out wide.

You could put every uniform Tampa Bay has worn since the old orange and red ones in a lineup, and no chance I could tell you which ones they wore last year or which ones they're wearing next year.

I know they wanted a clean beak from the creamsicles, since that look was associated with franchise futility, but I hope Tom gets to wear those colors for a throwback game or something. Great look (as modeled by Doug Williams):

There might be a change to the "one shell" rule so there is a chance that we could see these again.
