Clemson looks flat in all aspects. I wonder what impact the COVID positive result for Lawrence is having on the team. Everyone looks preoccupied.

I’m optimistic that we’ll have him two more years. He might make it the NFL, but if he does, he’s going to be a guy in the mold of Gardner Minshew (savvy, and more elusive than he looks, but lacks the arm strength and athleticism of guys who go in the first round). Those guys tend to stay in school.

Edit: Minshew was a beast at Washington State, so the comparison is a compliment.
One big difference with the two of them is Minshew is 6’1 or so, Jurk is a legit 6’5.

I think he’s going to be a first or second round pick in a couple of years.

Clemson needs to hold here or they are going to be in a hole that they won’t get out of this afternoon.
BC with great play calling and execution on first down—keeping Clemson defense on their heels.

It’s a small thing, but I love the 3rd and 28 call. Slow-moving triple option, everyone knows to eat the ball if the pitch isn’t perfectly there, and you get a chance to spring a big play from a defensive mistake without forcing the ball downfield into dime or quarter coverage. Clemson defended it well, but I liked the thought.
