Go for the killshot and Duke doesn't even bother to cover the middle of the field, thanks

My brain is still processing this second half. Anyone else surprised Gill didn’t get much run?
How many snaps did he get? It may be that Flowers and Long got more targets as Jurk got comfortable.

I was very impressed with the tackling. There were very few missed tackles.

I almost fainted when they went for a fourth and shift from midfield in the first half. That’s 100 percent the correct move, but it would never have occurred to Spaz and Daz to do that.

Game management is already in a different stratosphere.

I just finished doing the player participation for BC, so this should be close to 100% accurate for the Wrs:

Flowers 45 snaps
Lewis 37 snaps
Gill 37 snaps
Williams 15 snaps

Flowers and Lewis were technically the starters, Long played almost every snap regardless of formation

What is going on?

Don't have access to NESN+ and don;t feel like paying $5 for ESPN3
OL trash. Defense looks slow. Jurk not making decisive reads. Down 7 but Texas State came to play and their O is faster than our D.

I think BC is in trouble.

Thanks. I definitely didn't expect this at home.
My Haf excitement drops by like 70% if they lose to this shit team. They don’t look prepared at all. Goes to show why he’s been hitting the recruiting trail hard for secondary players.

It shouldn’t have come to that, but good lord what a difference in late game execution and coaching, in comparison to the Daz days.

And....exhale. Yikes. What a terrible game but thankful for the W. Texas State managed that really poorly.

This team definitely has many weaknesses but Hafley is worlds apart from the last guy. They’re still finding out what they to work with on offense so I will give them a bit of a pass. There are serious holes on defense but they seem to be scheming pretty well.

Yup. Hafley deserves credit for getting this W. No chance they win with Daz in a similar situation. End of the day, this program has a serious talent deficiency right now but Haf will give us a fighting chance most games. Jurk should also get better as the season progresses.

All in all, very ugly W but one I’ll gladly take. There probably won’t be too many more of them in the coming weeks.
