Timmons apparently has plans after the game. We cannot expect him to defer them simply because we want him to do his job properly.

Following this series, all I have to say is thank god I don't have to go through the 04 ALCS again. I mean, I'm happy I did it, but good lord. I wouldn't want to be a fan of either of these teams during this game.

Rays/Devil Rays/(remember Sting Rays?) are totally the Dollar Store of MLB. And the unis can't have both a fish and the sun. Fucking pick one.

For me it's the Raiders. The bullshit flag on Sugar Bear Hamilton, Jack Tatum, Al Davis, the whole Mad Max schtick... Vegas is the perfect town for that shithole franchise. And 'The Flame' sucks. So satisfied the greatest dynasty in the Super Bowl era began by beating them upside the head with the rule book.
Great stuff.

I was at the LA Coliseum in 1986 for the Patriots/Raiders playoff game..............a great game, the second time in my life while attending a sporting event I actually feared for my life ( the other time was the Monday night win in 2007 vs the Ravens in Baltimore when Ryan called a time out to wipe out a penalty that would have probably sealed the game for the Ravens), I though of the that playoff win as revenge for the screw job in 1976 in Oakland............little did I know 2002/ the snow bowl win would trump that................

And that new stadium the Raiders play in in Vegas is a clownshow.

Kevin Cash, despite all his plaudits, will be the reason the Rays are about to be on the wrong side of history.

I think his bullpen management has been suspect and masked by really, really good defense. I think it's a situation where the results don't match the eyeball test. It feels like a classic situation of overmanaging.

I also hate the Astros and am not thinking about this rationally.
That entire team is masked by really, really, good defense

I mean, right now is a perfect example. You've basically taken Castillo out of tomorrow's game while also destroying this game

Instead of hitting rockets right at someone, now they're getting seeing eye base hits.

Baseball really is a funny game.

It will be interesting to hear what VORP has to say. My sense is that this is pretty much how he manages this team, and it just hasn't worked out the past couple games.

Well, this double sucks...
now the shitty Astros are going to win, and the majority of my DK Showdown lineups are screwed.Got cute and put Castillo in most figuring he’d be set up for an Inning or two and be dominant. Oh well...

I’m starting to hate how frustrated sports had made me the past couple months, especially because my agitation hasn’t even been about the teams I actually root for.
