Will the Twins ever win another playoff game?
No. I give up.

But seriously, and for two years I've been tempering my 8yo's diehard fandom with this conventional wisdom: You can't rely solely on a killer offense in the playoffs. They can, and often do, go cold. See, e.g. 1995 Red Sox. I believe that goes double when the offense isn't built on plate discipline.

Don't worry; after they dispatch the toothless tribe, I'm sure things will fall into place for them to face the Twins and the A's, also known as Poland and France for all you WWII buffs.

Here's hoping 2020 ends up the same way every post season appearance this century has ended for the Yankees outside of one (and leave it to a team from Philadelphia); with YED.
Yankees play the winner of Rays/Jays.....so welcome to the bandwagon Sox fans. You need the Rays on that wall.

I'm pulling for the Rays for two reasons; one, it would be great to see a city win two championships in the same year (dare I say three including the Bucs?) and two, I don't want to see LA do it.

I heard Ryan Pressly is still ok, Dusty
Managers are going to try to not use pitchers that they don't have to in these game 1s, then they can use them in both games 2 and 3 if they need. Of course you can use someone three straight days but good chance they will not be effective in game 3 if you do.

Robbie Ray in relief, immediately gives up a leadoff triple to Arozarena.

It really feels like Tampa Bay has been masterful at shifting for years and always are in the right place.

Rays win.

Margot with the GWRBI and insurance RBI

Why can't the Red Sox get players like that.
