Whoa, I turned the game off at 27-0 and I just checked out the box score. Not sure if I'm more surprised that the Packers have sort of made it a game, or that Jimmy G. has only thrown 6 passes!

That's a terrible call. They called that the other way on Gronk all the time. And they call it DPI instead of illegal contact/holding.

Before the game, my buddy was putting in some props for this game. He goes “Greg Kittles over under 3 catches in the 3rd quarter?”
I said, “If they’re winning, Jimmy might not drop back 3 times in the 2nd half.”
I feel pretty good about that
Good thing that wasn't for the 4th Q

Let me ask you this, all those times they called it on Gronk, did you say: good call, refs
Nope, it's a play that the flag shouldn't come out at all. If you're going to throw a flag there on the offensive or defensive player, you could throw the flag on almost every play.

Jimmy has thrown 8 passes. These were Brady's pass attempts in the Pats wins this year:

36
28
42
39
42
41
45
36
47
37
29
33

The two games he threw less than 33 passes were the 43-0 win against Miami and the 34-13 win against Cincy.

The ability to run the ball matters. A lot.

In last year's SB run, the Pats rushed for 155 yards against LAC, 176 against KC, and 154 against LAR. So great running game.

And yet Brady threw 44, 46, and 35 passes in those three games.

Crazy.

Pats should prioritize finding a top end RB. Maybe even use a first round pick this year.

37 points all on offense with 8 pass attempts. Maybe you could imagine that with a running QB like Jackson but Jimmy has 1 yard rushing. This Is crazy.

and tennessee had 28 points on 15 passes last week, no wonder the league had to make sure one of them lost today

Last year's playoffs were so strange. The Pats ran 78 plays against the Chargers, 94 plays against the Chiefs and 68 plays against the Rams. San Fran has 48 plays tonight.

Unfortunately, it won't matter if they can't block for him. See Gurley, Todd, this year.

The Develin injury blew up this offense. I'll go to my grave saying it. Gronk's retirement, Andrews injury, etc. Couple that with absolutely no receiving threat on the outside, and well.....

overall really impressive for SF to completely rebuild since that 2012-13 SB loss and get back. It's too bad we can't meet Jimmy G there, but we will see him in Foxboro later this year, hopefully with Brady just for fun.

I have a feeling KC is going to be too much but I hope for a good game.

Vegas should have a prop bet on which terrible Boston media member is the first to say that Jimmy making the super bowl means the pats screwed up by trading him.

Pats offensive woes this were a perfect storm of injuries, retirement, suck, Antonio Brown appearing and Flash disappearing. If it could go wrong it did.
