and they cut to the studio mid-performance just for Carragher and Richards laughing
A marshmallow head is an improvement for Carragher in both appearance and probably my ability to understand him

edit: ok I’m out you can assume that my feedback for the next 90 minutes is that 7 Chelsea players should be on a red and that there is a conspiracy against City

BT Sport have a free stream on youtube, with Lineker et al. Not sure if it's available to those out of UK...

I've got to go for City here.

Werner is both dominating this game but also not a real threat in his current form.

Chelsea defenders are playing really well, some critical challenges in the box.

Pulisic is so much more clinical than any of these Chelsea attackers.

Yeah ... not really sure what he should have done , but it wasn’t that.
He just missed timed his run so he was already out of the box when he confronted Havertz, but since he couldn't use his hands he was basically a traffic cone for Havertz to go around.

I don't get Pep outsmarting himself yet again by going with this suicidal midfield setup, anchored by Silva/Gundogan, and sacrificing all chances for his fullbacks to get advanced against weak defending wingbacks in Chilwell and James.

Sterling's gotta be off at half, he's fluffed the only half-decent chance played his way (by Ederson no less) and doesn't have the instincts to link up consistently with De Bruyne down the left.

But also, honestly, what on god's green earth is John Stones doing here?

That whole press was really disorganized and out of sorts. Nobody got close to challenging the ball the entire way.

Pep's decision to press a lot this game is pretty questionable in general but you really should just be falling off with five minutes to go in the half. Chelsea is a tough side to press because their attackers are fast and they have attacking mids that will draw your CBs out of position (like what happened with Stones here), everybody is tired right before halftime, just fall back.

It is unbelievable to me that Pep hasn't made any adjustments. Gundogan lucky to not be booked for bringing down Havertz there, if Werner starts to make some more intelligent runs there are some serious opportunities there for Chelsea
