Its brilliant.this has me cracking up harder than anything the past week
That is legitimately hilarious.
30 pts on 18 fga, 9 reb, 8 ast, +26 in 30 minutes. Most nostalgic of all: got to sit the whole 4th quarter in a Warrior rout. Its brilliant.
Also, washed, grifting Steph Curry has 18 before the half but the Kings are Kanging thus far so league average Curry's night may end early, especially after all the buckets yesterday.
Draymond has played well thus far and the rest of the rotation looked decent the last few games as Stephs gravity has opened things up. They are potentially the most interesting version of the Curry era Warriors given their funky roster.30 pts on 18 fga, 9 reb, 8 ast, +26 in 30 minutes. This kid can't seem to catch a breakMarkelle Fultz went down with a left knee injury four minutes into tonight’s game. Looked bad on the video.
Yeah, I said it in another thread but it's really deflating. You can't help but cheer for him and then this. This kid can't seem to catch a break
He’s such a wonderful athlete. I bet he would have been a great running back with his ability to change speeds and direction. Sorry about this injury, hope he can stay healthy when he returns. Everyone in Philly liked him, especially his teammates. This kid can't seem to catch a break
Wilt scored over 50 points 118 times in his career. Jordan was next with 32.Getting like the early 60s with these big point scoring efforts.
Good.Trae Young free throws, pre-Nash complaining: 62 free throws attempts in four games, or 15.5 per game. Overall 33 points per game, Hawks 3-1.
Trae Young free throws, post-Nash complaining: 26 free throws attempts in four games, or 6.5 per game. Overall 18.75 points per game, Hawks 1-3.
Very small sample sizes, but looks like Nash making a stink may have had an impact.
Really? He was terrific last year when healthyYou could not have convinced me that Hayward was capable of scoring 40 points in an NBA game anymore having watched him last couple years. Really impressed at how productive he has been
His 39 points in 33 minutes last year against Cleveland was a clue that it was possible. He was 1/4 from three that game too.You could not have convinced me that Hayward was capable of scoring 40 points in an NBA game anymore having watched him last couple years. Of course. Eyes just saw a player who had lost enough athleticism to not be able to get a shot when someone was intent on stopping him. Happy to be wrong — I thought he had done a nice job finding ways to be productive in spite of serious physical limitations here but it looks like he either got more healthy this year or I was simply wrong. His 39 points in 33 minutes last year against Cleveland was a clue that it was possible. Lead down to 10 heading into the fourth.Brooklyn is working Philly right now without KD or Kyrie. 17 point lead late in the 3rd
Lol I'm so glad he's not in BostonBrooklyn is working Philly right now without KD or Kyrie. 17 point lead late in the 3rd
Tough game from Simmons, 11 points on 4 for 13 from the floor, 2 assists against 5 turnovers. In the half court during the fourth quarter, he was either in the dunker spot, which forced Embiid out to the perimeter, or when Simmons had the ball at the perimeter they played way off him, clogging the lanes. Maybe he finds a way to elevate his game or finally starts shooting at some point, but they should really sell high on him, he's not the second best player on a championship team, at least not when the first best player is Embiid.Tyrese Maxey has been much better than I expected him to be, and he looks like the ideal guard to slot beside Harden. Simmons and Embiid still don’t work as a pairing, that’s a deal they really should just make.
Maxey looks good...sounds like the Knicks are happy with Quickley after a few gamesTyrese Maxey has been much better than I expected him to be, and he looks like the ideal guard to slot beside Harden. Simmons and Embiid still don’t work as a pairing, that’s a deal they really should just make.
No fucking way. It's been less than a month!
Ha, same. That pass from Luka then shot from Jokic.... So niceThis den-dal game is something else. I don't watch much late night out of town games but I'm glad I tuned in with 5 minutes left.
Now in OT.
I’m old enough to remember when the Nets had created an unstoppable dynasty that the Celtics had no chance to get past.
Most days Kyrie is the star PG, and some days he's Head Coach... yesterday he played GM
Basically every weird thing Kyrie does would be fine and understandable if he were a normal person, having stuff come up every few months. The thing about Kyrie is this.....
I would have no problem with him asking for a personal day given all the stuff going on, same for any player. Even in normal times a mental health rest day is probably smart for these guys, given the stress, pressure, and poor mental health work around the league (improving recently) given all the extra issues surrounding COVID, political climate etc. it's worse. The issue I have with Kyrie is him not looping in his coach and possibly teammates. If Kyrie just called up the GM and Nash and said.... "listen guys I need a day or two, can we work something out" they would/should have, and everyone would just say "Kyrie is going to miss a game or two to attend to personal matters, he'll be back ready to go", instead it's the Kyrie Magical Mystery hour.
Yup. It's all about how you handle it. Sounds like he didn't travel to Memphis either. The poor communication makes Nash look bad and just invites a lot more controversy than is needed. It also makes him the focus and not the team, which is tough for the rest of the players. The thing about Kyrie is this.....

Whoa....you can actually see his brain explode in real-time as he explores the infinitude of possibilities.
