Didn't he blow a ton of saves in the Post Season though, and he never recovered mentally which led to his leaving the Astros? That's my recollection.
Yes, he pitched like crap in postseason, but you didn't reference the postseason in your post, just if he pitched for a good team.

If you're thinking that because of that 2017 postseason (in which his team still won the Series) he's scarred, then I don't know...maybe?

Devers has been a one man wrecking crew in this one. Holding onto Devers and trading Moncada seems to have been the right choice.

Yes that's exactly what I'm thinkng. didn't think I had to be specific. My point was ,(IMO) he is hard to trust in big playoff spots, and anybody looking right now will need exactly that.

some of these Sox games this year make me feel like I'm walking through Times Square in the '70's

I just took a second to look at Workman's numbers and ended up in the 2013 World Series B-R page.

Holy fuck, Ortiz had an OPS of 1.948 and second was Bogaerts with .599.

Looking back, how the fuck did they win a World Series where all but one hitter had a sub .600 OPS in it?

Can't really blame Workman for this, he's thrown over 40 pitches already. The bullpen needs help, pronto.
