He misses a lot of time, he has only started 30 games three times in his 8 full seasons.
Oh. I don't watch regular season games much. I just remember last year and this year post-seasons, he was brutal, in my opinion.
Yeah. It’s obviously due to injuries, but I was shocked the dude might retire without even sniffing 200 wins.
Yeah, he looks terrible sometimes, but it rarely impacts the game much. NY had a sub-3 team ERA this postseason against two great offenses, some of that is his pitch calling/framing/etc.

I looked this up, this is only his sixth career WS start. He had one bad one and one good one in his rookie year of 2006, a bad one in 2012, two very strong ones in 2017 and tonight. So I am concluding that your conclusion is ludicrous.
They do watch his innings. Just noticed he led the NL in innings pitched this year.
I think no just because he is not great defensively but he is an incredible hitter.
Soto was 6th on the Fangraphs Trade Value list in mid-July, FWIW.

If I can start a team right now with one player including their current contract situation? I think I go Bellinger (I love his defensive flexibility, he is great at RF, CF and 1B), but Soto is top 5.Who would you take? Acuña? Jasson Dominguez
This is ridiculous. Can we do an investigation of where the home plate umpire placed his bet on the Astros tonight?
Disagree with Smoltz that no DH affects the Astros more than the Nats, Yordan was an automatic out last series and WAS likes that they can get both Kendrick and Cabrera into the lineup with the DH. I don't think it matters, for once (usually it does really hurt the AL team).

Suzuki is pulling a lot of borderline pitches out of the zone when he catches them, in the ump's slight defense.
Chirinos and Reddick are giving them nothing at the bottom of the order, and now the pitcher batting for the next three games.
