“2 perfect shots, Michael. You got me in the water and over the green.”
It sounded like he was mystified and just stating he couldn't believe it. It didn't seem like he was throwing the caddie under the bus, he was just in shock. Like, "Can you believe that Michael, two perfect shots, both lost?"

I interpreted it more as him angry at Greller for either bad yardage or bad club selection.

No reason to have coverage on two channels tonight...Full coverage is basically featured group coverage....they've shown like 4 shots from others

Weird round for Tiger. Good off the tee, lousy irons, putted great. 70 felt about the best he could shoot.

I also thought Rose didn’t play all that great and he ends up with friggin 65.

Are they going to make this course brutally hard today somehow with pin placements? It looks like other than Tiger's crazy win by 15 strokes in 2000, PB has played pretty tough (even that year runner up was I think +3?). Yesterday seemed pretty easy comparatively.

They’ll tuck some pin’s, but to make it brutal they need wind which I don’t believe is in the forecast. It’s a short course, only a shade over 7,000 yards. Fairways are narrow, rough is deep and penal, but if you hit the fairway you can score. The USGA hasn’t baked out the greens yet because a) they got a lot of rain and b) the players will riot if they fuck it up again. Maybe they get them a little firmer and faster for the weekend.

Jesus, Spieth is a douche. He should just go ahead and fire his caddy instead of ruining his image by constantly demeaning him.

Lol Spieth taking half a dozen practice swings in the drop zone, obliterating what few square yards of drop zone space there is

Then floats the flop over the green. Heh

10 holes for Spieth this round have either been birdies or bogeys. He is not parring anything. Quite a card.

What happened with the rake for Speith? His caddy left a rake and Spieth hit it?

Nah, it was a rake left at the top lip of the bunker, spotted by neither Spieth nor his caddy because it was camouflaged in the fescue - Spieth took the low route out of the bunker, grazed the top lip and caught / stuck in the rake. Getting out of there with a bogey after he had to chip out of the rake area was impressive

I cannot ever remember seeing something like that.

Thanks. That’s a tough break.

Tiger is leaving his putts short. Seems to be reading them well.

The app is confusing because they put the cut line where they project it to be not where it actually is at the moment. Technically it is +1 right now, but they have it as +2.

Oh Phil, I can do that. Hit a chip from the geenside rough about 4 feet, when he needed 15
