Poirier is such a typical gym bro. I feel like I know him.
I like Poirier a lot. He’s tough and can throw.Damn, we got our money's worth tonight. Two incredible flights.
I agree with LM, that the Stylebender - Gastellum fight probably should have been a draw, but it also probably should have been stopped in the fifth.
How fucking impressive is Porier, winning wars with two of the toughest guys alive in Gaethje and Holloway?
My understanding is that she’s a survivor of sexual abuse and bullying. Mentally ill father. Been in therapy for it. Seems to be a huge source of strength for her, but she sometimes seems to balance on a knife’s edge emotionally.
She fucking out-hearted Jędrzejczyk, twice, though.
Dudes fought at 155 like 40 times. Yeah he’s getting older but why would this time be an issue?I thought the weight cut was going to be a problem for Cerrone. It wasn’t. He looked great.
Crazy sport. You gotta give up the takedown and not get lifted like that. It’s reminiscent of Ramoage slamming Arona in Pride but that was a lock triangle.
Damn. That’s some crazy strength.
Yeah it’s very bizarre because she definitely taps, but she didn’t appear to be in any danger or pain. Some of the comments make it seem like it’s a tactic fighters use when the refs can’t see in order to distract or confuse an opponent.Ahhhhh okay I was reading into it too much.
I don’t know what to think about it. It’s certainly an unnatural move with her hand but in midst of spiking her? Weird.
