Lots of improvement to be had and 3-4 big holes to fill yet but we are headed in the right direction finally. Chucky is doing a terrific job.

And that Chicago pick is currently #10 and doesn’t figure to slip much.

I don't love first round RB picks in general but if you're going to do it, you better make sure the guy is a legit stud. Jacobs is exactly that—and there is still more potential there given his fairly light usage in the passing game so far.

Dumb penalties are a concern, but I liked the aggressiveness of the defense last night.

Carr is fine to pretty damn good if he gets a little bit of time. A little more help in the receiving corp next year would be nice too. Of course that is true of many QBs.

Overall, it seems like Chuckie and Mayock are doing more right than wrong with this team.

Edit: But we know the real reason they won last night is because Gunfighter was there in person to inspire them. With Veteran's Day around the corner, they just didn't want to let an old Marine down.

They have 2 first rounders plus get Abram back, so de facto 3 first rounders in 2020. And presumably they will be able to spend AB’s cap money.

They need a MLB, NT a #1 WR and more CB help. Should have the resources to fill those.

Carr's game-winning drive last night was downright, dare I say, Bradyesque. Just a slow grind of conversions, usually with room and downs to spare, frequent runs, etc. No bombs...but no mistakes.

You’re not off in that assessment. Which made Rivers subsequent “drive” all the more jarring. Nearly everything was a bomb and the only two passes that had a chance of being caught were to the opposition.

Gruden has always ran that methodical, risk averse offense. Very few bombs but lots of chain moving.

Raiders only 1/2 game (0 in loss column) behind 1st place in AFC West. Mind-boggling.

They do need to win December 1st at Arrowhead though, as the Chiefs won their first match-up.

They don't quite have but close to it, control of their destiny to the #3 seed, considering the Chiefs and the Texans still play the Patriots.

They control the tiebreaker v. the Colts. (Lose a tb to Texans)

Out of their last 6 games, includes 4 games in which they should be favored,
road games v. the Jets and Broncos, and home games v. Jags and Titans.

Other 2 are tough. @ Chiefs as mentioned above, and "@" LAC (although they should have majority of fan support in the latter)
