Big questions:

1--What is AB's status?
2--Who will be playing OL?
3--Any additional injuries for Jets tonight?

Pats open at -17.5

Apparently Falk is a massive Brady fan.

He used to wear TB12 hats around campus & bring up Brady whenever possible, to the dismay of his friends. Also, he (reportedly) said his biggest wish is to play against his idol in the NFL.

Now he gets to do just that.

As I said in the game thread last night, he just looked more like an NFL quarterback than Trevor Peterman

He was listed before last season's draft as someone the Pats might take a look at late as well. He was close friends with Tyler Hilinski, his teammate that committed suicide. Falk missed the Senior Bowl to attend his funeral.

Of course Bill does that (Bill being Bill), but why is he giving away trade secrets? I mean, probably no other coach is anywhere close to as thorough as he is, but you never know. Let sleeping dogs lie.
I think Bill’s “know everything” trade secret has been out for awhile.

Or is this billjitsu? Maybe he's hoping to get owners screaming at their coaches to spend a lot more time scouting practice squads.

Could be. As Patton said it what you do with your ammunition is less important than making your opponent use up all of theirs. Pretty common at all levels. In hoops I am a man to man coach, but at times I play zone just so the team I play next has to burn part of practice on their zone attack. Coach K is known for saying he does things "every practice" to influence what his opponents do. Red Aurerbach always wanted to spread the story his practices were harder, more physically demanding than other teams, even though he was ahead of his time in recognizing the need for rest.

Another week where they could kneel punt play D and win. I guess Lev Bell is still a thing but good luck against 9 in the box.

Should be another week of Pats + under.

Vegas May have learned their lesson a bit after last week. The number this week is right around 43. Last weeks 53 was an easy under. This one has some intrigue, at least

I hadn't looked figured the books would still underestimate the NE D as they had first two weeks.
I'd still take the under. Don't see NYJ scoring more than 3 and NE offense might be just a bit slowed due to the OL issues. Something like 34-3 seems about right.

No Develin again today. Without him, the offense will be a bit different this weekend.

Hopefully we can hang 57 on the Jets without Mosley. He's their signal caller IIRC and arguably their best defender.

So no Develin again. Wasn't there a tweet earlier this week that whatever he was missing practice for wasn't a big deal?

Amazing that they have averaged 35ppg on only 218 ypg passing.
You can run a lot when you're up 21+. And if the running remains successful, that lead keeps rising of course.

Just suggests how thorough a domination it was that we likely didn't even have to stay in 5th gear, could just run a lot and grind clock.

The way Develin plays, it'll be a miracle if he can move his head from side to side in 10 years.
I wonder which DL is going to get the goal-line offensive snaps at FB?

Develin and LaCosse being out is concerning. Especially with a an offensive line missing three of the opening day starters. I don't mean to overreact. It's the Jets. And the Pats D is not directly affected by their absence. But it's hard to see the cumulative affect of these injuries not making it tougher to run the ball, which in turn makes passing more predictable.

Funny thing is the Patriots were solid on the ground, averaging 131 rushing yards in those games and three total rushing TDs, but not statistically dominant from a ground game perspective. The Jets did have 7 turnovers in those three games.
