Presidents Cup is coming up next month. Captains picks are getting announced today. International team has already been announced:

Qualifiers- Leishman, Hideki, Oosthuizen, Scott, Abraham Ancer, Haotong Li, CT Pan, Cameron Smith

Eli’s’ Captains picks- Day, Sungjae Im, Joaquin Niemann, Adam Hadwin

US Qualifiers- Koepka, JT, DJ, Cantlay, Schauffele, Webb Simpson, Kuchar, Bryson

4 captains picks to go. I can’t see Tiger not picking himself so 3 more. Finau, Fowler, Woodland and Reed were 9-12 in the points standings, Tiger was 13. Other candidates are Kevin Na, Kevin Kisner. Koepka is also dealing with a knee issue so that may give Tiger an extra spot to work with.

The President's Cup should be used as tryouts for the Ryder Cup. Pick guys that have never played team competition and see how they react. Then use that info for the Ryder Cup.

Yes, I'm saying nobody gives a shit about the President's Cup. It should be rolled into the Ryder Cup - Week long event, double the team sizes, East v West.

Agreed, bring me Morikawa, Hovland and Wolff.

But they don’t do that. He picked himself, Reed, Woodland and Finau.

Very surprised about the divisive Reed over Fowler. And Woodland is a bleh fucking pick. Would rather have Reed and Rickie and than Woodland.

Woodland is going to qualify for the Ryder Cup team next year. Might as well break him in now.

Also, Woodland is awesome. Much prefer him to Fowler.

Brendon Todd wins in Mexico, his 2nd win of the year. Cool story, guy nearly gave up the game due to his struggles. From 2016-2018 he missed the cut in 37 of 41 starts. Found a little something in the KFT playoffs last year, getting a tour card with a T2 finish in one of the events. Missed the cut on his first 4 PGA Tour stars this season, then T28 in Houston before winning his next two.

That's an amazing story. He was so bad.

Todd has the lead at the RSM. Absolutely amazing.
It’s a ridiculous story. Listened to his interview on NLU and he was investigating franchise business opportunities because his manager kinda hinted he needed to think of income outside of golf. He was probably a month away from giving up golf as his primary focus.

Now look at him.
