I'm clearly doing something wrong in this league. My first 3 picks are all not playing this week. Typical.

Congrats @bostonbeerbelly on the first win of the season.

Everyone double check your scores and make sure things are correct and there are no formula errors in the spreadsheet. Not that I don't trust @Vegas Sox Fan, but a little QA never hurts.

0 points! An excellent start to the year for my squad, it bodes well.
You actually should get 1 point for Sean O'Hair's MDF. There are a bunch of MDFs this week, everyone make sure yours got counted.

For the record, Stewart Cink is outscoring your team 5-1. ;)

Nice, thanks! Put me up for a point, please. And I can take some solace that only my last three picks played this weekend.

Yea the MDFs are showing up in the live standings now, but not the overall standings on the first tab

The Desert Classic has to have the worst field of the year that counts in our league right? Maybe 2 of the 25 picks in our league playing Rahm & Rose.

I have 4 guys going including Rose, but maybe that just speaks to the quality of my team.

This is the only event on tour on a course I've actually played, so there's that. Of course that will change in Feb after I play Torrey Pines.

something screwy happened to the sheet from the Sony Open...the totals are completely different - looks like it is taking the current Desert Classic results and putting them in the overall standings and the Sony standings

Only 3 guys playing this week, and neither of my first 2 picks. I really, really suck at this "pick guys who like to play golf" thing.

Tough to pick for these 2 events. Not everyone likes to go over to Hawaii and then the Desert Challenge is never a highly attended event. It's a pro-am, and the Stadium Course is not a favorite because it's fucking really hard.

Next week is when things get going for real.

You gotta be -11 to be in the top 10 this week after two days, I'm not sure that's "really fucking hard". Unless you meant it's really hard to go low 4 days in a row.

I meant it was hard to pick guys in our draft who will definitely play this week. DOTB was complaining that none of his guys were playing, I’m saying these tournaments aren’t the ones to judge how frequently your team plays.

I have 7 guys going this week, and the one guy not going is injured. This is the week I either get back into it or it's already over for me, in January. There are no in betweens. And no mistakes.

Nope, I still suck. Only 3 guys going this week (Chesson Hadley, JT Poston and Danny Lee, woohooo). My top 2 picks, DJ and Stenson, have yet to tee it up. I mean, I can't even get Ted Potter Jr. to show up this week.

The top guys are all creatures of habit. DJ usually starts at Pebble and ends up 22-23 starts per year. They usually all end up in the 22-25 start range. JT made 23 starts last year, Fowler is 22, Spieth 24. The Euro players will play 1-2 less. They usually don’t play much on the West Coast swing, they’ll jump in during the Florida swing and then head back to Europe after the Masters for the BMW PGA.

The elite players will play the majors, players, WGC’s, then whatever regular events fit their schedule. Finau, DeChambeau, Schauffele are the closest things to week in week out workhorses and they’re only making 2-3 additional starts.

Was really hoping Scott would miss that birdie putt on 16 so that I could feel comfortable. Still not over.
