I will be really happy for Lowry winning this, but I also want him to drop about 4 shots in the next three holes to make the next 4 hours as fun as possible to watch.

JB Holmes sucks to watch and endure. He's a drag and a slug. Hopefully we won't see too many more shots of his. He was tied for the lead yesterday and now he's 11 shots behind. That is a swing right there.

Lowry has steadied himself and he is being chased by Fleetwood, Westwood and Fowler. All three of those guys have track records of being mental midgets on Sundays at major tournaments. This is starting to look more and more like a run away.

Finau suddenly in 4th. Yesterday, early in the round, there were 15 players within 2 shots of the lead.

Since then, it's been all Lowry, all the time, and nothing for anyone else.

yeah, I think it was more than that, about this time yesterday, it looked like it was going to be an absolutely epic finish, and could be headed for a huge playoff. Nothing but love for Lowry, and obviously this is going to be a beloved champion, but pretty dull

As there is not really first place to watch, some things I'm watching for

Can Holmes and Rose break even par (or 80), Rose is at -3, Homes at -2 and and dropping fast

Will Molinari's 66 today get him an epic backdoor top 10 (-3 is currently 13th )

Brooks apparently working the officials about JB. Good stuff, I bet Brooks lights him up post-round.
The fact that not even crossing the Atlantic results in JB being put on the clock is a failure of officiating. I know JB is shooting a 90 but, still, he's interminable.

Is it just me or is there a much greater number of commercial breaks for this major?
It’s not you. NBC’s golf coverage is absolutely embarrassing and sucks any joy out of this. I absolutely despise golf on NBC.

Hopefully not the snapping the club in half. Never seen that on TV pro golf.
It happened literally at the last major.

I can't believe NBC has so many more commercials than Sky Sports does in the UK. I mean, I can believe it, but Sky is basically showing the same number of commercials you get on CBS during The Masters. For NBC to be treating this like the final round of the Honda Classic would be pretty despicable.

I don’t think they’ve shown a live shot since you posted this.

Come on JB, a 9 here on 18 would not only get him a 90, but would also ensure he finished in last place

A simple bogey would ensure a 61 spot drop in the standings today, that would have to be a record?
