Martinez and Ozuna are pretty horrendous corner OF defenders, you have to go all-out for that ball if you are Ozuna and it is already 5-0.

Houston better not blow this. There is no need for thousands of Yankees fans to descend on DC.

7 ks through 2.2 is bananas. even if the nats hadnt already scored 7, corbin would have been hard to beat tonight

My goodness. If Scherzer, Straburg, Sanchez, and Corbin are like this in the World Series, they're gonna sweep whoever they face.

This has probably been said already, but how great would it be if the Nats won the WS the first year Bryce Harper is gone?
Yeah, the Phillies are still happy with that deal, I think, if only because their attendance went up so much, but it's not going to help guys get giant deals going forward.

How many of those fans aren’t coming back next year? He walked less and struck out more. It’s not a great contract now and it’s going to get a lot worse.

Hey, you don't have to convince me, I was saying he wasn't worth it all winter.

The surprising part about WAS is that their bullpen has all of a sudden solidified, Rainey looks good sometimes, Doolittle is back after being totally cooked in mid-September, and somehow Daniel Hudson looks good closing for them. If they keep that up, they will be a tough out for HOU.
