I’m not giving up or anything but considering the Pats were at home this is a much more impressive performance on both sides of the ball by the Bills. It’s ok to say that.
I mean, you do recall the weather last weekend? Those games can end up being crazy. The Pats won and they were never really close to losing. That's all you want.

It’s also in a dome compared to some of the worst football conditions imaginable. It’s okay to say that as well.
You mean the conditions that contributed to the Pats not giving up a TD? Or does that only impact the Pats offense.

I’m not overly scared of the Bills, I just think the Cowboys are garbage and last week’s win looks a little less impressive today.

You're being pedantic.

Let me try again: the Bills are probably better than I thought and the Cowboys are probably worse than I thought.
Styles make fights. We beat the Cowboys. We beat the Bills. We’ll see if we can again. A vs B vs C never really plays out in the NFL.

When is someone going to try the onside kick where you try to smoke a liner off a player, has to have a better chance of success than the current tries

I hate that onside kick proposal. What if they call some ticky tack DPI on a Flacco special? That would drive me insane

I do NOT understand why you cannot declare you're kicking onsides and then they go back to the old rules and you can line up anywhere. Just make declaring a requirement. It's not a player safety issue if it's an onsides kick.

It is such a simple solution. It is so easy. Why can't they figure this out?

Today, the Lions did it. It worked.
Good, I missed most of that game. Granted most of the time teams have used it it was as a surprise onside kick where you're hitting an up man that has shit hands, but I remember it working before.

Admittedly, this kick worked because it was a surprise and the guy it hit was running away from the ball. It would be harder, but not impossible, to do it when it wasn't a surprise.

I have to admit I don’t understand why people care about onside kicks so much.If a team has been outplayed most of a game, I don’t care if they don’t get a chance to get back in the game with a gimmicky fumble recovery.

AFC East had their way with the Cowboys. Not a great year for them. 8-8 could win this division. The Cowboys aren't a great team. They are barely good. They are a good bad team.

Because they are awesome and furious comebacks are also awesome.

Because it makes the game competitive longer?

Allen seems like a nice kid.

considering under the current rules traditional onside kicks are virtually impossible it has to be a better chance, it's going to take some sort of gimmick kick

I’ve been suggesting this for two years now and I agree - it’s so simple and obvious. Make it a penalty if you don’t onside kick in that formation. They’re overthinking this big time.

1st to be fired?

Patricia, Garrett, or Quinn?
I don’t have a lot of love for Patricia but I notice that team seems to play hard so I might give him another year. Garrett sucks. I think the Falcons have an organizational problem. Quinn should go but he isn’t the only one.

Are we just taking note of it more, or has this been some sort of historic level for missed kicks?

I got it in the Pats game last week, but the last two games have been in domes and kickers are missing bad.
