For any of you masochists, ESPN2 is currently replaying SB LII (NFL Greatest Games).

I can honestly say I have not watched any replays outside of a short video of the strip sack where White is wide open in the flat.

I can honestly say I'd rather be slathered in honey and staked to an ant hill.

But thanks for the heads up.

And as far as who I want the Patriots to play; doesn't matter to me, you play who you play, just survive and advance no matter who it is.

From my view, it doesn't really matter who wins today. Once Indy won, next week got infinitely harder no matter which team comes in. I'd rather play LA, but either team provides big challenges. Honestly though, the team that has the best chance of going into to KC next week and winning is going there. It could be a blessing in disguise that Houston isn't coming here because Indy is a big-time scary matchup for KC. I didn't think LA could go do it again and KC has seen the unique offense of Baltimore already and KC would've been ready for it.

Thanks but no thanks. I have "Inside the NFL: Super Bowl LI Recap" on my DVR when I want to lather myself in warm nostalgia.

I want to play whoever loses today. That's the problem with the "who scares you" game.

At the end of the day, if the Pats can't beat either of these teams at home in the Divisional Round, the team wasn't winning a title anyway.

We do this every year. Since we never play on WC weekend we always play a team coming off a big postseason win. Anyone prefer playing WC weekend to an actual bye though?

If Houston won there’d by posts about how Watt and Clowney shut down a red hot Indy offense and we shouldn’t take them lightly.

This is Quenton Nelson pancaking Clowney that somehow drew a holding call. Him against Chris Jones next week is going to be awesome to watch. Nelson is the best guard in football as a rookie which is pretty amazing to think about.

I like NE chances next week regardless of opponent. With BAL you get a rookie QB in NE in Jan and a defense Baker Mayfield hit for almost 400yds passing in a must win game for BAL. They are good but not 85 Bears good.

If LAC were healthy they are scary but Gordon/Allen don't look close to 100% and Rivers has faded a bit down the stretch. A 1PM start in chilly NE doesn't hurt either.

IND is probably the worst matchup for NE even in NE. They are extremely well balanced on offense with a dominant OL and the D is going to force you to sustain drives, something NE hasn't been as good at this year due in large part to inexplicable drops. They can also stop the run rather effectively. At least with KC you know NE could move the ball both on the ground and via the air.

Exactly. Some years the Patriots luck out and a crappy team makes it into the Divisional Round. The 2011 Tebow Broncos, for instance, or the 2016 Osweiler Texans.

This isn’t one of those years. The Chargers and Ravens are both solid teams, and it won’t be a cakewalk to beat either one.

I'm incredibly amazed at the annual game of "who would the Pats rather play."
We do the same thing in baseball. In 2018, most of us were pulling for the A’s to upset the Yankees and get into the LDS, for Cleveland to upset the Stros and, probably a lot less, for the Brewers to be the WS opponent. It’s hard enough to get all the way through, so why not desire the easier opponents? Would bet the quad SB losing Bills wish they’d gotten a team like the 2000 Giants instead of the Parcells Giants, the Gibbs Redskins and the Jimmy Johnson Cowboys.

According to Betonline.ag, regardless of who they play next week, the opening line will be Patriots -6. I know the Pats are a public team, so I see the line dropping unless injuries rear it's head today in MD.

If BAL gets down 10+ in the second half, does Harbaugh stick Flacco in?

Given they're reportedly going to trade/release Flacco in the offseason, that's a complicated decision, but Harbaugh might not/should not give a shit.

Hmm. Most? I was hoping for exactly what we got.

Baltimore is playing with house money right now. I cannot see risking the future confidence of Jackson by pulling him in a winnable playoff game.

I say sink or swim with Jackson and not worry about using Flacco for any reason.

Flacco isn't playing, barring injury, and it was a ridiculous suggestion.

That Ray Lewis thing is stupid af. Especially when you have to put a little fake thing of grass out there for him. So fucking contrived.

I see Ray Lewis wearing a piece of evidence (white jacket) from his trial for the intro. Unfortunately I can believe why he is still propped up all the time by the Ravens and NFL for that matter.

The Ravens cannot lose enough while he continues to be idolized.
