A well-respected NFL individual in the know just gave me this Top 10 night-before best guess:

Quinnen Williams, AZ
Bosa, SF
Oliver NYJ
Kyler Murray, OAK
Devin White, TB
Haskins, NYG
Hockenson, JAX
Josh Allen, DET
Christian Wilkins, ATL
Devin Bush, DEN

See you in the mentions.

(Note: ATL picking at 9 means they traded with BUF)
If it goes this way at the top, you have to ask: why the elaborate farce wrt Murray all this time? A farce in which you either enlisted your year-old starter, Rosen, or were coldly indifferent to him.

Seems like a fuckton of work for just settling on your guy who no one could ever take away because you have the first pick.

Murray going to the Oakland Raiders after he spurned the Oakland Athletics' $5M would be tres amusant.

"hey! I remember these locker rooms!"

If Murray doesn't go #1, the 49ers have to be thinking "JACKPOT!" and trading the fuck out of #2. Just as much because it's probably Bosa taken #1 than the haul they are going to get for #1.
Mitch Trubisky trade, take two. The 49ers jackpot from that trade isn't looking so hot.

Which Manning was the bust?
lol

If you want your quarterback, you're going to have to trade up in the first round. Baker Mayfield is one of the few, but obviously that was because the Browns could take him first overall.

I like Rosen more than I did last year. He played well behind a bad offensive line, the Seahawks game above comes to mind because he had some great throws in the 4th quarter. A couple leading Ricky Seals-Jones, the TD pass, and the flick of the wrist to Kirk on the sideline while he is in traffic in the pocket. It's the Cardinals, they sell out their games, yet Arians retired to get out. Patrick Peterson, who has played every game in his first eight seasons ( Another Cardinal, Aeneas Williams played eleven I think. No idea if that is the record for a CB?) has demanded a trade and trade talks started yet again this week, Happy 100th season to the NFL and the only team in all 100. The Chicago/St. Louis/Arizona Cardinals.

Solomon Thomas (2017 #3 overall) reportedly on the block. If I remember correctly, he’s versatile and can also play the interior. Might be a good opportunity to buy low on a guy if the price is right.

Wow. Not unsurprising perhaps, but again no tape who knows what happens here given he was allowed to participate in team activities.

It is an 11 minute audio recording. There are some transcripts online, all of which seem completely awful. He's definitely getting cut.

I thought it'd be difficult to top the Laremy Tunsil draft night surprise but well, this sure does it. There was always an odd sense about how quickly people forgot about his past but this should do it. Jeez.

it only took about 40 minutes after the tape release but ESPN finally removed the "Hill working hard to be the best man he can" as one of their lead headlines.

He’s never going to play a game in the NFL again. Reportedly, this is the first time the DA has heard this, I hope he goes to prison.

You have a higher opinion of these owners and this justice system than I do but I hope you're right. This is sickening.

I'm shocked that shitty human being Tyreek Hill didn't actually stop being a shitty human being when he made the NFL!

Luckily for the Chiefs, if he's suspended they just traded half their draft for Shitty human being Frank Clark, so they won't be without a scumbag on the gameday roster

As awful as some of the other NFL domestic violence issues have been, this is the first one involving a child. I really hope breaking a 3 year old’s arm is beyond the pale for the NFL.

Forgot about Peterson. Sad state of affairs that there are so many of these issues that I can’t keep track...
Right?!

Peterson - beating his son
Elliot - Domestic abuse
Ray - domestic abuse
Brady - played football in the cold
Hill - domestic abuse

so hard to keep track of!

Hill is done. No question
Hill is done with KC. After he's cut and serves his suspension, he'll sign with someone else for cheap. I'd put Cleveland as the leader for that move as of now, but basically every other team will be vying with them though.

Get that kid out of that situation, and Hill out of the league.

I wish the guy at Gillette who poured beer on him had used battery acid instead.

I will believe that Hill is done when I see it.

If KC cuts him loose, someone else will sign him after he goes through some sort of "therapy" and issues a heartfelt apology.

Dee Ford’s offsides looms larger and larger. They still have Mahomes on that contract, but damn have they seen some churn.

Dear NFL,

You're welcome reporters don't have to say "Super Bowl Champion, Tyreek Hill, suspended indefinitely for breaking a 3-year-old's arm."

Regards,

The back of your computer
https://www.si.com/nfl/2019/04/26/arizona-cardinals-josh-rosen-no-draft-night-trade-first-round?utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=themmqb

According to a league source, the Cardinals and general manager Steve Keim began shopping Rosen in earnest minutes before the draft began at 8:00 p.m., and were seeking a first-round choice in return that no team was willing to give up. Rosen only found out about the team's intention to draft Murray, the 2018 Heisman Trophy winner, moments before the pick. He found out from his agent only after Murray was seen in the green room taking a phone call while the Cardinals were on the clock. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury called Rosen minutes later.
The market for Rosen diminished with each team that filled its need at quarterback. The Giants selected Duke's Daniel Jones at 6 and Washington selected Haskins at 15. With that, only Miami remained as an obvious destination for the former UCLA quarterback, and no other QBs came off the board.

After letting Rosen twist in the wind through months of speculation about the top pick—from a February declaration that “Josh is our guy” all the way up through his participation in camp just last week—it now appears Keim and the Cardinals have two options. They can reduce the price for the 22-year-old who passed for 2,278 yards as a rookie or wait until August, if and when an injury to a starting quarterback elsewhere in the NFL resuscitates the market for the fourth quarterback selected in last year's draft.

Not really news, but I’m in the KC area and the amount of free Tyreek Hill stuff on Facebook marketplace today is crazy. Autographed things, jerseys, anything. All for free. People here seem to be pissed.

When I first read "free Tyreek Hill stuff" I thought you were going to say that people were pissed that he wouldn't be playing for the Chiefs any more.

Rosen and his agent must the only people following the NFL who found out so late about the Cardinals' intention to draft Murray. I mean, it was known as a virtual certainty everywhere. I understand they mean heard definitely from the team at that point, but c'mon.

Ha, sorry. I can see the confusion. I’ll be on the lookout for anything like that. I’m sure there are some.

Might be able to take one of those Hill jerseys and make into a Damien Williams jersey. For the cost of a few sew on letters you're in business

Tyreek Hill is done. Audio released by KCTV in Kansas City of a conversation between Hill and his fiancee.

Brooke Pryor is reporting on the audio that is being played now.

Wow. Nice guy. His fiancee and kid better get as far away from him as they can. He will be out of football and take it out on them even more.
