I love Cowart - very explosive with some excellent traits (arm length, power, movement). He was miscast at Maryland as an edge rusher, which explains the low production (3 sacks). He's a DT for me, and I think he's got a real chance to turn into something.

I want to take this draft out for a nice steak dinner.

Been checking in every so often. Where did all the 7’s go?
What’s next year looking like?

Typo by me.

Complimentary. They think Pats are nailing this draft.

What do we have left today, two 7s?
One. 252.

I love that they added a punter. I’ve never been a huge Allen fan. Although he was a beast in the SB.

Top rated punter in the draft according to this: https://bnbfootball.com/2019-rankings/punter/

They just resigned Ryan Allen on a one year contract so this guy is likely headed to the practice squad for a year
is that really likely? Seems to me he would get poached. I think this is a competition and likely the end of Allen's time as a Pat. Going out as a Superbowl MVP candidate in my book.

I think just one 7th (comp pick) left.
Thanks.

Looking forward, is there a site that tracks these trades in real time? Always feel a couple steps behind on the pick swapping.

I honestly just tried to pull together the Patriots trades in this draft ... and failed ... but I got a headache

Spectacular draft by Bill and company. Really really good. Usually I can find something to nitpick but I really can’t. Checked nearly every box (and I imagine the TE situation will be resolved some other way).

So no trades out to 2020 from this draft?

Someone said last night that 13 anticipated picks in 2020. I didn’t know whether he was joking or not.

You know, the worst part of BB’s job has to be when he cuts guys. That’s gotta be awful. But this has to be right up there with the best parts of the job. Every one of these calls ends up with the guy and his family sooooo happy. Amazing.

They got a 2020 4th from someone, maybe Seattle or Detroit.

Does anyone who's looked at the TEs in this class have a read on Caleb Wilson? Graded out well as a pass-catcher. Is he a significant upgrade over guys like Hollister and Izzo?

I’m watching Chase Hansen, LB from Utah. Undersized converted safety but is one of those guys that seems to just always be around the ball. I just like rooting for that kind of player. Probably doesn’t fit the mold of what the pats typically look for in a LB but he can run so I’m assuming he would offer some special teams value. If not in the 7th then maybe as an UDFA.
