Am I wrong to think Langford is Avery Bradley 2.0 with a better finish at the rim? They both had questions about their shooting coming in, Langford finishes better, Bradley defended better?
Not really. Totally different body types, Bradley actually shot the 3 well in college (his FTs sucked). Also, Bradley looked to have an elite skill in his on-ball defense, elite skills are important to making it in the NBA;
Of course maybe Langford has an elite skill for drawing contact (like Harden) in which case even if he can get to 34% from 3 he's a real weapon.

Aren’t the Celtics supposed to deal the pick to cut salary as part of clearing enough room for a Max?

Well, trading for more picks in this draft is not something I expected to happen.

I like Thybulle for PHI btw, nice fit, I believe in him just wouldn't have taken him for the Celtics, especially at 20

Wow. The Sixers had promised Matisse Thybulle with the no. 24 pick. It shows how badly Philly wanted Thybulle to give this up: He's a potential perfect fit as a multi-positional defender who blends in on offense next to Ben and Joel.

Well we apparently needed more picks. Not sure I love sending Philly the best defensive player in the draft. I must admit I like him more than Langford

I really liked Thybulle but am happy with this trade given the talent that was left. If we don’t get at least one of Bol Bol or Clarke I will re-evaluate.

At 22 the Celtics have plenty of big men to choose from, so Ainge will go small.

Well if we trade down far enough we are getting to the points, where P'G's are starting to be value picks

Wow, I kinda wish this kid Matisse was staying with the Celts after that story and interview. Seems like a great kid.
