The Celtics are selecting Romeo Langford with the 14th pick of the NBA draft, per source. Langford did not complete any pre-draft workouts, due to injury, but said he'll be ready for summer league.

Huh Romeo, I kinda hate that. He's a smaller less athletic Jaylen, except instead of being a good defender he's a mediocre to bad one.
If you built a type of player I hate it would include a lot of Romeo Langford.... Ball stopping ISO guy, who is brutally inefficient, and has "mid-range game" as his best attribute. Also plays below the rim

The NBA draft “analysts” generally suck at their jobs relative to the NFL guys, who are basically freaking gods of scouting by comparison.

Don't get either. I didn't see him much, but he didn't stand out at all when I did.

Langford was playing hurt most of the year at IU last year. I don't think we've seen what Langford truly can do yet.

FWIW, he played virtually all of the season with a tore ligament in the thumb on his shooting hand. Had surgery after the season.
