49ers had 2nd and 3 at the Green Bay 47 with 1:15 to go and somehow gave up the ball and allowed Green Bay an 80 yard drive. No idea why the 49ers did not use 1 of their timeouts to better prepare their defense on the last drive.

KS didn't throw up a poorly-thrown home run ball with 75 seconds left holding 3 timeouts needing only 3 points. Unless you want to accuse him of insufficiently drilling on situational football, which I suppose I'd grant. But still - that play is on the QB.

That is exactly what I meant. Poor situational football. They had been running the ball great (up until the two previous drives), and he decides to put the game in his backup 2nd year QB's hands. I don't agree with that.
It is made even worse by having to hear about Rodgers being the best ever for the next week.
And I still think the illegal contact call was weak at best.
