McCaffrey gets absolutely rocked on almost every touch. I will be shocked if he is a feature back in three years.

That's not fair. You can't judge him on one play out of the 60 or so he'll have the ball tonight
I'm not judging him on one play. I'm judging him on his 61.1 QB rating for the game, and his 91.4 QB rating for his career outdoors. What's even better is that he's actually been worse than his 61.1 tonight. That 2 point conversion that he just threw to the other team doesn't count as an interception, and isn't included in his passing numbers.

I'm shocked he's made it through this season like he has. I think he's going to end up around 325 touches on the season, and he runs hard and doesn't shy away from contact like a guy like Kamara does. He takes big shots. He did the same thing at Stanford though and stayed fairly healthy there, IIRC, so maybe he can handle it. He had over 400 touches his junior year, when you include kick returns. It's crazy.

I'm pretty sure that was a joke, son.

I can't imagine what it's like to be a Carolina fan. The one time you make it to the Super Bowl, you get absolutely dismantled, and other than that, it's just nothing but overrated nonsense year in and year out. They started the season 6-2 this year, and then lost to Pittsburgh 52-21. Since that day, they've lost to Detroit, Seattle, Tampa Bay and Cleveland. 5 losses in a row going into tonight, and they've had a million chances to win this game and Cam can't do anything.

Bottom line, if Cam Newton is no longer able to take off and run, he's a bottom 10 starting QB in the NFL.

I've been saying this for years. That, and the fact that he's the biggest frontrunner in sports. All sports. As arrogant as can be when things go well. And throws as many people under the bus while pouting when they don't.

Maybe more like blacked out. I was at that game. LOL. Completely forgot about it, as I was typing the post, but I was really focusing on the Cam Newton years, when every year, someone (or a bunch of someones) talks about how this is the year they are going to make a run, this is the year, Cam Newton is so great....

This is almost the exact same position the Pats were in against the Dolphins last week. 3rd down, do you go for the 1st down or touchdown or do you run it and let the clock go down to a 1:20, and then kick the field goal.

I'm not sure that ball crossed inside the pylon. I thought it went outside the pylon.

the pylon cam would be good right about now.

I don't know how that passed inside the pylon. It was basically right above his arms, and his arms were clearly outside the pylon.

FTR, Carolina should be spiking after first downs.

Edit: Never mind, i forgot they only need a field goal.
